Lucas Pov 

I am never drinking again, woke up this morning with the worse hangover ever. I've just had a shower to make me feel better but I'm just progressively getting worse. Leah was alright she didn't do shots with Tooney and Russo. 

Leah, Sarina and I were due to appear on Lionesses Live before we headed of to Trafalgar Square, I don't think I will be able to string a sentence together. We were currently loitering in the reception some of the girls haven't slept and quite frankly i've only had a hour or two.

I had my cap and sunglasses on trying to hide the fact that I was seriously hungover.  Me and Leah were waiting inside before we joined Josh and Joelah, Sarina was on her way.

"Guys we have 2 part of our dynamic trio today here on lioness live, Leah and Lucas are in the building can we get a round of applause" Josh said I stood next to Leah with a mic in my hand "How you feeling today Leah" Joelah asked "A little bit rough but alright, Yeah" Leah said "How about you Lucas how are you feeling" Josh asked "Rough as never drink or actually do shots with Ella and Less again" I said and everyone laughed "Well the celebrations continue won't they as it is your birthday today Happy Birthday Luke" Joelah said "Yeah happy birthday grandpa" Lucy said in the crowd "Shut up i'm not as old as you" I said "Good to see your dad there last night Luke" Josh said "I know it was great, they had to leave early but i kept winding him up about the fact he never brought it home" I said "What was going through both of your heads at that time other than playing five extra minutes"Joelah asked "oh I was getting emotional, I just thought keep the ball away from me, I don't wanna be involved, youse are doing great" Leah said " I was a nervous wreck cause I knew that feeling of the last few minutes of a final but of course we didn't bring it home during our Euros, I just kept looking at Leah and wanting to run on the pitch and hug her cause I just felt sick and I knew how how she would be feeling, I hated being on the sidelines" i said

We had finished the interview for Lioness Live and we were on our way to Trafalgar square. Some of the girls were still drinking. Me on the other hand is drinking water to sober me up. "Leah do you have any Paracetamol" I asked as I looked at her on my right "I don't sorry babe" she said as I groaned and lent my head on her shoulder "how come your hanging this bad" Leah asked "Well for starters the amount I was drinking didn't help, don't do shots with Tooney and Russo and it didn't help not getting much sleep last night" I said with a smirk on my face "Well we had to make the most out of one of your birthday presents" she said "One does that mean I have more" I asked "of course, you didn't think that sex was just one of your presents" she said "I would be happy even if it was the only present I got" I said "I know you would be" she said as she placed her lips against mine "Whats the plan for tonight" I asked "Well we are going back to the house to get changed and then we are going out with our families" She said "lovely"

Soon we had arrived at Trafalgar square we had gotten off the bus and waited backstage. 10 minutes later Alex Scott welcomed us to the stage, I was stood next to Mary and Georgia, Alex was asking Leah and Sarina some questions "Now wheres the birthday boy" Alex asked as Mary and Georgia pushed me towards the front of the stage. I stood next to Leah as she gave me her mic "Hello, Alex" I said "Hello Luke how are you feeling" she asked "Rough as" I said as everyone including the crowd laughed "Well considering its your birthday it is only fitting that we should celebrate it so after 3 lets all sing happy birthday" she said and I mentally groaned the music started playing 

"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Lucas happy birthday to you" Everyone sang 

"Thank you" I said as I hugged Alex and stood in between Leah and Sarina "Sarina what was it like to have Lucas assist you with coaching the Lionesses" Alex asked "Well I had asked Graham and Gareth what Luke was like on and off the pitch and Leah had came to me and asked if there was anything he could do to help but at the time she asked I just didn't think of anything, but when I got the opinion of his managers I knew it was only fitting for him to help me coach the lionesses and it was probably the best decision I have made" Sarina said and the girls cheered "Lucas what has it been like to work with the Lionesses this summer" Alex asked "You know it as been the best experience I have learned a lot from the girls, i've watched them train, I've watched how they work as a team and what I have learned is something I will take on when I'm back with the guys, but I have made some friendships along the way and it will be something that will stay with me for life and obviously getting to spend the summer with Leah has been great too" I said as I looked towards her and she blushed

We got back to the hotel and collected the rest of our things and put them in the boot of my car "Luke come follow me please" Leah asked "Yeah" I said as I followed Leah to the room with my hand inter-wined with hers. She opened the door and I was met with a chorus of happy birthday from the girls. "You didn't think we would let our favourite coach go without a present from us did you" Ellen said "Well I didn't expect anything from you" I said "You have a couple of presents actually this one is from all of us" Jill said as she handed me a bag "thank you" I opened it up and was met with the team photo we all took right at the start of camp and underneath it said 'England Lioness Euro Camp Summer 2022'. Mary handed me another bag "This is from us Manny girls" she said I took the bag of her, I opened it up and was met with a Man U shirt "Really"I said as I looked at them "Just turn it around" Ella said I turned the shirt around "NO FUCKING WAY, YOU DID NOT" I said as I looked at the girls "We did" Mary said "A BLOODY RONALDO SHIRT, SIGNED TOO" I Said as I was in awe "There's a birthday card in there too" Alessia said I took the card out of it's bag

Happy Birthday! the girls told me you were a huge fan and that you have always wanted my shirt but I have done you one better and signed one for you, I hope I get the chance to play against you one day
