after i placed the bouquet of tulips into a tall vase of water, i turn to mason with a smile on my face, and he does the same. "should we bake something?" i ask him with an excited tone in my voice, "yeah, but not cookies though because you burnt those last time" mason replies while shrugging his shoulders.
i nod my head and stick my hand out for him to shake it, "deal" he takes my hand in his and shakes it, "deal"

"MASON YOURE GETTING FLOUR EVERYWHERE" i yell at him as he dumps the flour in the bowl from high up, causing it to go all over the kitchen island. "oh well, there's such thing called cleaning" mason replies, rolling his eyes playfully before dumping more flour into the bowl.
"yeah you're the one that's gonna be cleaning it all up" i tell him sarcastically, taking the bag of flour away from him. mason tries to take the flour away from me, holding my arm with one hand and the flour with the other, "mason you don't need anymore flour, you've already gotten it everywhere" i mumble, fighting to get the flower back. before either of us say another word, the bag of flower rips open, causing it to go all over us.
"oh my god" mason says, before he burst out into laughter. "this is not a laughing matter, thames" i reply with a straight face, wiping the floor away from my eyes.
"well, since we're on a last name basis, pravong, i think we should both clean up the flour" mason tells me before leaning foward and brushing the flour out of my hair.
the corners of my mouth lift up a little, as i try and suppress the blush creeping up my neck.
i shouldn't be blushing. i can't be blushing.
"stop that" i mumble sternly, looking away from him, "stop what?" mason replies, smiling slightly, "you know what" i laugh while backing away from him to get the dustpan and broom. "i actually don't know what!" he shouts after me as i walk open the spare cupboard.
"you looked at me all funny" i reply, as i kneel down on the floor to sweep up all the flour, "well, pravong, i apologise for looking at you all funny" mason tells me, while laughing slightly.
