(Second person POV)
"Zane?" Kai's voice echoed from above, making you breathe a sigh of relief, glad that someone with an understanding of emotions could come and help the ice elemental feel better.
"Wow, wouldja look at this place?!" Jay exclaimed in awe before his face fell as he heard no response. "(y/n)? Zane?" he called out, confused as to the sombre expression on your face and the ninja in white's haunched-over position. "What's wrong?"
"Are you hurt?" the fire user inquired, the trio rushing over to his side as you stood hovering over him, unsure of what to do.
"You okay?" Cole asked, not bothering to conceal the worry on his face.
Finally, with a sigh, the male addressed looked up from the floor, and to the blueprint that lay on the workstation, picking it off the surface. Holding it in front of him, he scanned over the diagram before his hands moved over to his chest.
"Hey, what-" the earth elemental began, before being cut off as Zane opened up his chest.
With a scream of shock from all three teens, Kai finally utters "You're... a robot?!"
Burying his distress, the ice user murmurs "All this time... and I never knew..."
With a strained chuckle, Jay dryly smiles "Uh- Guess this explains why you're always acting so weird... right?" Letting out more laughs that held no humour in them, he looked to the others as you give him a deadpan expression, something that the two other ninja shared.
"The reason I never had a sense of humour was because my 'Funny Switch' wasn't on." Zane murmurs, flipping a switch on his chest before closing the panel on his chest again.
Suddenly, he took your hand in his own before twirling you around as if the two of you were ballroom dancing, though you doubt that you would be spinning this fast if that was the case. Just as you were about to fall, he caught you with one arm before beginning to sing, a pleased expression on his face.
"Hello my baby, hello my darling, hello my ragtime gal. Send me a kiss by wire~" he finishes, giving you a wink before whirling the two of you back to your starting positions. Helping you stand up straight, he gives you one last smirk before opening back up his compartment and flipping the switch back off.
Struggling to find your bearings, you placed a hand on your forehead, still feeling slightly dizzy from all that spinning while Jay was on the verge of tears from all that laughing. The same couldn't be said for Kai and Cole, however, as the two of them were consumed by shock and... jealousy...? From what?
...Did they want to dance with Zane too? you wondered, taking a deep breath and ringing your Clarity Bell to calm your pounding head.
...You're kidding... Koun snickers, enjoying the show from your left.
With a sigh, the ice elemental collapses on his knees, snapping you back to reality as you hover over him once more, unsure of what to do and what to say, that is, if you should say anything at all.
"Uh... It just... makes you... more special!" Cole proclaimed, "You're... still the same Zane!" Looking to the others, he seemed to be trying to find encouragement from them, "Just more, uh... gears!"
"No matter what you're made of," Kai assures, stepping toward the visibly upset teen, "You're still our brother."
"...Really...?" the male in white murmurs, looking up from the wooden floorboards.
"In fact, I bet it even makes you an even better ninja!" the earth user insists, moving toward like the other did.
"Yeah, and how cool is it that I can honestly say "My brother is a Nindroid"?" Jay grins, joining his two friends.
