Unforgiving

Chapter 4

It was time, to change my ways with Professor Park.

After a week, I signed up for my thesis. I took professor Park Jinwoo as my supervisor. After about two weeks, professor could come back to take classes. The semester was ending, and I was specifically busy with exams. Still I had to go and work for thesis, after class everyday. 

It always gets late, by the time I finish my work. It was pretty hectic for me. Yet, I kept doing subtle things like, slightly touching his hand or standing too close to him. I was giving hints. Yet, Professor Park was oblivious. He wouldn't even look at me or even flinch or change his expression when I did those. It was like, I had no effect on him. This bothered me initially. But for some reason, I knew I was going tp the perfect direction. I knew how to break him. And I will be winning this time. It might be slow. But I know, I will win. No one ever made me feel so challenged. And this challenge, I was too excited to accept. 

Mike came to see me after classes one day. Usually no one else from the outside is allowed inside the lab. But it was evening, and no one was really around. A few teachers were there in the teacher's lounge, but that is in another building entirely. 

I sat on his lap, as he kept talking about his stupid day. He will soon stop, if I do not give enough reaction. Otherwise, he will just complain about it for the next one week. I don't know really, why he is still around. I just don't get any point. Maybe I should break up with him. Now that Stella is not around, I don't really nee him anymore. 

" Ms. Roselli?", I suddenly heard and immediately stood up. 

I turned and it was professor Park Jinwoo. Mike stood up too. 

" No one else except authorized personnel are allowed inside the lab. You know that, right?", Professor Park said, without any expression in his face. 

" Yes sir. Sorry.....", I started saying.

Mike cut me off, " Come on professor. What's the big deal?" 

Professor Park stared at him coldly. 

" Mike you should go ", I said. 

Mike shrugged and then kissed on my cheek, " See you later babe. " 

And he went away. 

We stood there in silence for 1 whole minute. Professor Park was staring at me, without a single bit of expression. Is he mad? he should be. It's time I start having effects on him. That is the only way to break him. 

I went towards a telescope, and started setting it and then looked through it. I couldn't really understand anything. Did I set it wrong? What is the problem here? I tried hard to see something, trying to forget that Professor Park was standing here. If he wants, he can punish me now actually, for letting an unauthorized person enter the lab. Maybe- 

" This is not right " 

I heard him say. I stood straight and looked at him. 

" Step aside. Let me show you", he added. 

I stepped aside and he stood in front of the  telescope. I set it wrong. He fixed the issue and set it correctly and then bowed a bit to look through the telescope. 

After a few seconds, he said, " Here, come and look. You can see clearly now" 

I stepped towards him. But, without even looking, he pulled me towards him and the telescope, by grabbing my waist. 

In a second, my mind went blank. I couldn't move or even think. Every sensation in every other place in my body seemed to have dulled, to put all the focus on the sensation of his hands.
