༻﹡﹡Naoto's POV﹡﹡༺

My Onee-chan and I were taking a peaceful walk through the heart of our tribe when the unexpected happened, something that would shake the entire tribe to its core.

No one saw it coming. No one, except for us.

Though my sister and I had known this day would arrive, the timing caught us off guard. It was far earlier than either of us had anticipated.

As we walked, she greeted members of our clan with warm waves and smiles. Her connection with our people was undeniable-every person she met returned her gestures with respect and fondness.

But then, without warning, she began to glow.

A brilliant, radiant light burst from her body, so intense it was almost blinding. Her entire form shimmered, a glowing beacon that captured everyone's attention. My eyes widened in shock, and I instinctively froze. The beast people around us were equally stunned, standing in stunned silence, unable to comprehend what they were witnessing.

I felt panic rise in my chest, my heart racing as I rushed to her side.

"O-Onee-chan?!"
I called out, my voice trembling with worry as I circled her, searching for answers.

"What's happening?!"

Her face, however, told me she understood what was going on. Her expression was calm, though filled with emotion.

She raised a trembling hand to her chest, touching the mark there-the mark that symbolized her bond with Takemichi-and smiled. Her smile was bright, almost as bright as the light radiating from her body, and in that moment, I began to understand.

It was happening. The egg.

Their egg-Takemichi's and my sister's-had finally hatched.

Tears welled up in my sister's eyes as she gently cradled her glowing chest, the mark of a four-leaf clover shining brilliantly.

"Thank you... Thank you... You're safe... Both of you are safe..."
Her voice cracked with emotion as she whispered over and over again,

Seeing her like that, overwhelmed with relief and joy, nearly brought me to tears. I had never seen her so vulnerable yet so filled with happiness. It was a moment I wanted to savor, to share in her joy, but the crowd gathering around us snapped me back to reality.

People from the tribe were approaching, their faces filled with concern for my sister's sudden transformation. Though their intentions were good, I knew it was dangerous for them to get too close.

If they found out the truth about Takemichi, about our mate... and about their egg... things could turn very bad, very quickly.

I knew we couldn't afford for anyone to learn that Takemichi-our mate-and their egg had been missing. It wasn't something that could be shared with just anyone.
