Chapter 9: Genya and Muichiro

Author: Hi ya'll, I just wanted to let you guys (basically no one) that around chapter 8 and this chapter have no curse warnings, I just thought you guys would already know since Sanemi is a character here. But I won't be adding any curse warnings or so anymore, but if you guys don't like that then I'm sorry, but it will stay like that for now. Also a quick reminder is that I was sick writing like Chapter 7, 8 and 9 and who knows I would continue writing with a bad state. But the sickness isn't too bad so yeah enjoy this chapter lol.

Sanemi wakes up to see Giyuu resting comfortably beside him, this might as well have been the most lovely morning Sanemi has ever had, seeing Giyuu beside him after all that ''cuddling'' from yesterday. And out of nowhere Genya opens the door with Muichiro to see Sanemi and Giyuu in bed together.

''Holy shit, did I enter in a bad time?!'' Genya said out of embarrassment, while Muichiro was just looking at them as if this isn't the first time he seen Sanemi like this.

''Wow Genya, ever learned how to knock?!'' Sanemi yelled so loud that it woke Giyuu up.

''Shit! I woke him up!'' Sanemi thought to himself. Giyuu sat up to see two faces he has never seen before. Out of curiosity and concern, Giyuu asked Sanemi who they we're.

''Oh they're no one, never seen them before!'' Sanemi said imitating Rengoku's booming voice.

''Seriously brother?'' Genya said. ''Brother? You guys are siblings?'' Giyuu said.

''I thought you would already know because of our faces.'' Sanemi said. ''Anyways forget that, why are you two here in 8 fucking a.m.'' Sanemi said in a harsh tone, probably because they  barged in when Sanemi was about to kiss Giyuu's forehead.

''We wanted to have breakfast with you Nemi.'' Genya said. ''Don't call me that! And I'm only gonna say yes to this for one time cause I'm fucking hungry.'' Sanemi replied.

Genya waited outside for the two to prepare themselves.

''I could've cooked for you, Sanemi.'' Giyuu said. ''No, that's too much work for you.'' Sanemi replied. After preparing and leaving the estate, Genya introduced the two the Japanese Breakfast place as the four went walking to the place Genya mentioned.

''Are you sure the food is good?'' Sanemi said. ''It has steamed rice, miso soup, pancakes egg dishes all those stuff. And they serve side dishes and desserts like cheesecakes, mochis, crepes, fruit sandwhiches and coffe-'' Genya said but Sanemi told him to shut up and not to finish his sentence cause he might accidently summon Saiki. 

After arriving the three took orders while Giyuu would just eat whatever Sanemi gets him.

After ordering silence took over the atmosphere and everyone looked at each other awkwardly.

Muichiro decided to break the silence and ask: ''Who is he, black hair.'' ''This is Tomioka Giyuu. I basically found him in the ocean which was a restricted area after all.'' Sanemi replied. ''He doesn't have the presence of a human, nor a demon. And how did you even find him in the ocean all alone, and why did you go to a-'' Sanemi told Genya to shut up as Sanemi wasn't even gonna answer his questions.

''He's a mermaid, not a human or demon. Believe it or not he's the last one that exists till now.'' Sanemi said. ''What... No way, prove it.'' Genya said with his confused tone. ''Oh my fucking god Genya, it that really necessary?'' Sanemi yelled at Genya. The two brothers kept on arguing since Genya really wanted to see an actual mermaid.

''Poke.'' Muichiro said as he poked Giyuu's nose. The argument ends since Salami was about to pop a blood vessel. So the two stopped and the four continued their meal and finished eating.

Sanemi's crow wasn't interrupting today, maybe he had no missions today. ''Hey Genya, still wanna see me prove he's a mermaid?'' Sanemi asked. ''Fuck yes.'' Genya answered.

Muichiro wanted to see it to even though he's gonna forgor, but he still joined along.

The four goes to the restricted area so other people wouldn't see Giyuu. 

Sanemi gets a heavy rock and throws it far enough. ''Go get that rock Giyuu.'' Sanemi said.

Giyuu jumps to the water while Genya and Muichiro thought he was gonna lose his breathe and fade away like a uwu princ- no, drown and die. The water was too dark since it was probably really, deep. After a few seconds Genya said: ''Sanemi, don't you think he's dying..?'' he said with a concerned tone. ''Don't worry Genya, you'll see.'' Sanemi said confidently.

GIyuu finally returns with the heavy ass rock he's been holding trying to swim back to the shore.

''The rock was heavy so I took a while to return.'' Giyuu said, while Genya and Muichiro was speechless. ''What. The. Fuck.'' Genya said. (Literally the same reaction Sanemi had when he saw Giyuu.

''Yeah.. Surprise.'' Sanemi said. Giyuu backs away from the water and his tail fades away and turns into a pair of human legs and got up. ''I'm gonna go, got some stuff to do.'' Sanemi said as he remembered that he owed a full explanantion to Obanai, Mitsuri, Shinobu and who knows, maybe everyone else.

Sanemi picked up Giyuu and did parkour and made his way out of the area.

The two left and walked to the village near the Demon Slayer HQ since Obanai called him in,  While Mitsuri was with Obanai. 

''You finally arrived.'' Obanai said with his classic, dark and low voice, as Mitsuri was quietly fangirling. 

''Yeah, kinda wished you we're more patient.''
