Falling in love with a mermaid (SANEGIYUU)

Chapter 2: Tomioka Giyuu.

It is a new day and Sanemi has woken up.

Sanemi gets out of his bed and prepares himself for a new day, while eating breakfast he thought about the mermaid. Sanemi decided that he would visit the closed area once again to confirm his thoughts and he wo-

''CAW CAW SHINZUGAWA SANEMI, YOU ARE NEEDED FOR A MISSION''

''Jesus Christ...'' Sanemi said.

Sanemi then walks out of his estate and runs to the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters.
After arriving Sanemi sees Iguro Obanai, the Serpent Hashira, And, these two were gathered to have a mission together, after the information from Master Kagaya, the two ran off and went to complete they're mission.

While running, Sanemi asked Iguro if he believed in mythical creatures other than demons.  ''No shit dumbass, if demons exist, most likely other creatures exist.'' Iguro replied. ''Obviously but, I don't know if I'm hallucinating, but last night I saw a mermaid.''

Iguro stopped running and so did Sanemi.

''What if that was a demon?'' Iguro said, Sanemi then says: ''well it looked to human to be a demon, in fact it had a tail, like a mermaid.'' Iguro scoffed and continued running. After a long mission the two decided to stop by a ramen shop. 

Sanemi's POV:

Ugh, I know I wasn't imagining it, It looked too real. I must be real insane over a stupid mermaid, that's just pathetic Sanemi. Although, I surely will go back to that area and check if that creature is there again. I just gotta-

''Wow really dude? you're still thinking about the mermaid?'' Iguro said. Sanemi gave him a glare and told him to shut up. 

''Mermaid huh?'' the ramen owner said. ''My daughter always tell me mermaids are real and saying she saw one before.''

''Oh?'' Sanemi said. ''Yeah and I think it's just some fake news since the mermaids already went extinct years ago.'' the ramen owner added.

Sanemi's POV: I mean he's right, there were no more traces of mermaids anymore. Guess my mind was just playing around.

After eating the two thanked for the food and went separate ways.

Sanemi's POV: Ugh, I'm tired tired tired tired tired tired tired. Huh? the same presence from last night is coming from that area again. It won't hurt to check.

''Alright let's see what's so suspicious in this area.''

Sanemi peeks from a boulder and seeing the same mermaid stuck. The mermaid lifts they're head to see a tall man, white haired and a lot of scars and weirdly.. has no eyebrows. 

Tomioka's POV: Shit! He's gonna capture me and murder me! What do I do?! What do I do?!

''Need help there?'' Sanemi asked.

The mermaid is speechless with a surprised face, he thought he was gonna capture him but he didn't? The mermaid slowly nodded and Sanemi pushed the huge rock away freeing the mermaid's tail.

The mermaid was too stunned to speak. Sanemi then crouched and scanned the mermaid and thinking if he should slice it's head off, or just ask the mermaid about themself.

''Are you a demon?'' Sanemi asked.

The mermaid was confused, what is this scary man talking about? The mermaid quietly said, no.

''Okay, can you tell me your name?'' Sanemi asked the mermaid                                                                    ''To-Tomi...'' the mermaid stuttered and was too scared to say it properly. Then was finally able to say it's name.

''Tomioka, Giyuu.'' 

And at this point Sanemi didn't know what to do. So he just gave him a long towel. (WHICH HE FOUND OUT OF NOWHERE SO DON'T QUESTION ABOUT IT)

Tomioka then backed away from the water and his mermaid tail magically transformed into a pair of human legs. Sanemi was surprised.

''What the fuck.. just happened?'' Sanemi said. The two looked at each other awkwardly. ''Okay so can you speak?'' Sanemi asked, Tomioka replied with a yes. And now Sanemi just looked at Tomioka. ''You have pretty eyes.'' Sanemi said. Tomioka blushed, and didn't know what to say. 

''Come with me.'' Sanemi said, Tomioka tried to stand up but fell while Sanemi catched him just in time. ''You don't know how to walk?'' Tomioka quietly said no.

Sanemi's POV: Okay, I don't even know what to fuck I am doing, I could just leave him but that would be cruel. Wait, what the fuck am I thinking? It's not like I care about this ''Tomioka'' guy. I could just leave him and forget about everything that happened, but he looks too cute to be just left hanging. OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT ARE YOU SAYING SANEMI???? SNAP OUT OF IT!!

While Sanemi was blushing and mad, Tomioka just stood with Sanemi's arm supporting Tomioka and looking at Sanemi with a blank face: 🧍‍♂️.

''You know what? Just go with me.'' Sanemi decided. Sanemi gave Tomioka a piggy ride to Sanemi's estate.
