"DO YOU THINK ITS HAPPENING again?" Bruce asked aloud to the sadden group of teens. The question they all wanted to say, but decided against.

They sat in the living room, all staring in front of them with empty looks in their eyes. Valerie sat next to Oakland, her body curled up into the brunettes, yearning comfort. Her eyes were blood shot red due to tears, but no one could tell due to the darkness.

Finn and Gwen's dad was still at his late shift. He finally got a job after he promised the siblings that he'd be a better dad. And he was slowly starting to prove it. But that didn't mean the siblings forgave him for all the trauma he caused them.

"How is that possible?" Vance responded to Bruce, sending him another blank stare.

Valerie's head rose up from Oaklands chest, as she opened her mouth to speak. "Or...what if someone is taking revenge for him" Everyone's head snapped towards Valerie. None of them had her talk the entire thirty minutes they were there.

Valerie could feel Oaklands body tense under her. She only Ignored it, way too focused on other things. One thing Valerie was blind to, was the fact Oakland didn't look sad, more as happy than anything else.

But none of the teens seem to take notice of Oaklands weird behavior, too caught up in there actual problem.

"Actually..." Bruce began, "I think Val could be right" he agreed, standing up in front of the group. "I'm sure he has family, that could be sick and twisted just like him, who want revenge"

Once again Oakland tensed ever so slightly in her seat, but Valerie didn't pick up on it this time. Valerie was now leaned forward on the couch, completely off of Oakland. Valerie had her full attention on what Bruce was saying.

But then it hit her like another bullet of emotions. She realized that if what Bruce was saying was true then what was gonna happen to Robin, or even them.

Without thinking she shot to her feet, going straight to the kitchen. In a hurry she plunged through all the cabinets looking for something specific.

The group watched her in confusion, as they followed her. They stood by the island, watching as she slammed open cabinets and closed them.

Her eyes eagerly lit up as she found their dads old alcohol cabinet. She knew he still had it because every now and then he would still drink, but no where near as much as he used to.

She grabbed a random bottle of cheap liquor that was stored on the bottom shelf. She quickly popped the cork off, bringing it to her mouth.

But Finn was quick to run over to her, reaching out for the glass bottle. She only snatched it away.
