VANCE RAPIDLY KNOCKED ON VALERIE'S door, waiting impatiently for her to open it. He heard her yell that she was coming, but that didn't stop him from knocked more.

Valerie unlocked the door, swinging it open. "Do you have to fuckin-" she paused mid sentence realizing it was just Vance. "Oh, come in Vance"

He walked into the house while Valerie closed the door. She walked back over to the blonde, watching his every move. She noticed how he tapped his foot on the floor, creating a loud tap against the wood. He also bit his lips, crossing and uncrossing his arms.

"Dude, what's wrong with you" She asked. He stopped tapping his foot, and biting his lip. Looking directly at her. "Yo, earth to Vance" She waved her hand in front of his head earning him to scoff.

"Yeah, Yeah I'm focused" he said, but he only went right back to nervously tapping his foot.

Valerie truly hadn't seen Vance this anxious in a long time, so she didn't really know what to do or say. "Here, uh, let's go to my room"

Vance subconsciously nodded, following Valerie to her room. A few foot steps came in the opposite direction of the hall. Allie slowly creeped out of the darkness. "Who was at the door?" She then realized who was standing by Valerie. "Oh hey Vance. Thanks for knocking like a maniac"

"You know it" He smiled, putting on fake enthusiasm that even Allie noticed.

Allie could sense that something was wrong so she let it go. "I'm going back to my room" She finalized, walking by back into the dark hallway.

Once Allie was gone, Vance's breathing started to rapidly pick up again. Valerie looked over at him with worry. She grabbed his wrist, yanking him into her room closing the door behind her.

"Vance, what happened" She asked, her eyes going left to right as he paced in her room. His hands were in his curly hair, tugging at it frantically. "Vance" She tried again, but he didn't he even look her way. "Vance" she tried again. "Vance!" She yelled, to which he finally looked over to the girl, stoping his pacing and taking his hands out his hair.

"I'm sorry" His voice was so quiet she could barely hear him. Something she was not used to.

"Don't apologize" Valerie shook her head, stepping closer to him. "What happened?" She asked again.

He sat down at the end of her bed, Valerie followed sitting down by him. She put a hand on his shoulder, causing him to look down at her hand, and up again to meet her eyes.

"I got a note" He spoke, still looking at Valerie. His eyes subconsciously traveled down to her lips, before quickly retracting back to her eyes.

Valerie pretended not to notice, hoping he wouldn't tell that she did. "Like the one we got the other night?"

"Yeah, but it was more personal" Vance began to dig in his jacket pocket, pulling out a folded piece of notebook paper. He then passed it over to Valerie, watching as she unfolded it. A slight look of confusion and fear on her face.

"I liked the new posters in your room. And you're cute when you're sleeping. Or maybe because you look like you're dead"

Valerie's eyes went wide. The whole note creeping her out. Valerie remembered that Vance had just recently put up new posters in his room. Only the friend group had seen his new posters.

"Vance we have to give this to the police" Valerie declared shoving the note back at him. "There's no way they knew you had knew posters and the whole sleeping thing is just creepy"

Vance sighed. "Well that's the thing" he puked out another note, handing it to Valerie.

She stared back at him with confusion. "Read it, dumbass"

She rolled her eyes, before slowly beginning to open the note.

"Tell the cops, and red head will be next"

Valerie gasped, feeling goose bumps invaded her pale skin. "What the fuck" She said her mouth hung wide open. "Shit, this is bad. This is really fucking bad" Valerie started to pace, putting her hair in her hands just like Vance did minutes ago.

He was quick to stand up, putting his hands on her shoulders. She looked up to meet his eyes, seeing as he was already doing the same.

"Val, calm down" He tried coaxing, but it seemed to hit a nerve of hers.

She scoffed. "None of this is okay!" She snapped, backing away from him. "Robins still missing and so is Donna. For all we know they could be dead. So no I'm not gonna calm down!"

"I'm sorry" He apologized calmly. "We need to tell the others"

Valerie huffed. "It's 11pm, we can't"

"Okay, we'll tomorrow then" he offered.

"Yeah, I just need sleep. You can stay over if you want" she offered. But secretly she just didn't want to be alone that night. If anything she was terrified. Terrified of being next.

"Really?" Vance asked surprised.

"Well don't act so surprised." She laughed. "But yeah, just sleep on the other side, we can put a pillow between"

He smiled at the girl in appreciation, already kicking off his shoes. He climbed into her bed, scooting to the far right, pulling the covers up to his waist. Valerie did the same, but stayed on the far left. She grabbed an extra pillow, stuffing it between the two.

"Night, dickwad"

"Night, dumbass"
