VALERIE WOKE UP WITH VANCE still by her side. He was facing her, eyes closed, and small snores leaving his mouths.

She rubbed her eyes, pulling the comforter off of her and climbing out of the bed. Her feet collided with the hard wood floor, a small thud after it.

There wasn't much she could do in her room without waking up Vance, so she decided on waking up her sister instead. The siblings seemed to be on somewhat good terms, having their ups and downs like you regularly would.

The house was peacefully quiet. The only thing that could be heard was the old floor boards squeaking under Valerie, as she walked down the dinky lit hall.

She trudged her way over to her sisters room, with a blanket around her shoulders, the bottom dragging on the floor.

She didn't even bother knocking, only opening the door to find her sister deeply asleep, sprawled across her bed.

Valerie didn't bother being quiet, going straight to Allies bed, jumping on it. Right when her body came in contact with the, Allie groaned. She flipped to her side, looking at her sister with tiredness in her eyes.

"What time is it?" She croaked.

"Uh," Valerie paused, looking over to the clock on the wall that read 9:13. "Nine, thirteen"

"Do you need something" Allie finally asked, rubbing her eyes.

"No" she simply replied. "I just didn't want to wake Vance"

Allie seemed to peak Interest in this. "He stayed the night?"

Valerie shrugged. "Yeah, neither of us wanted to be alone" Valerie then realized Allie knew nothing about their situation that was happening again. She was completely clueless.

"Why were you two scared?" It was like she realized something, her eyes widening in shock. "Did you two, y'know" She gestured her fingers, imitating inter course.

Valerie's eyes went wide, her face scrunching up. "No! God no, we just hung out as friends"

"Well..." Allie awkwardly started, as she sat up in the bed.

"Thanks for making it awkward" Valerie sassed.

"Sorry, sorry" Allie held her hands up in surrender, letting out a small laugh.
