FINN DIDN'T TAKE THE NEWS terribly, like Valerie expected him to. It seemed like he just expected faith. He did get teary eyed, but that's as far as he let his emotions show.

So the six were now in Finns living room once again. Vance and Bruce huddled by the tv, watching whatever came on.

Gwen stayed close to her brother, while Oakland and Valerie stood in the kitchen, discussing everything that's been happening.

"This isn't some coincidence Oakland" Valerie whisper yelled to Oakland, who continued to shut her theory's down. "I went through the same thing, I know what this is"

"You sound crazy Valerie" Oakland deadpanned, as she watched Valerie slowly fall apart.

"So you think kids are just randomly going missing again?" Once she got no answer, she asked again. "Tell me! How do you think this is a coincidence" Valerie's arms flailed around everywhere like they would help prove her point. Valerie's words were only going in one ear and out the other.

Valerie only got more frustrated by the second. "The grabbers dead" Oakland pointed out. "So it-"

"That exactly my fucking point Oakland!" Valerie's voice rose. "Someone could have the same fucked up mindset, and their here for revenge"

Oakland chuckled dryly. "Yeah, that makes a lot of sense" She replied sarcastically. "What if the Grabber wasn't as bad as you thought, and he didn't have other fucked up family members" Oakland seemed to defend rather quickly.

"He's not bad?!" She repeated, looking at Oakland incredulously. "He kidnapped children, and killed them. And don't forget we were all a victim of his. And he's not that bad right?!" Valerie's voice was not holding back, she was completely yelling and held no remorse.

Oakland bit back her snarky comment, and looked at Valerie with sympathy. "I'm sorry"

Valerie shook her head. "No, don't give me sympathy. Just don't ever say he wasn't that bad. Because he is the detention of bad"

One of the many ways Valerie fucked up.

"Yeah, won't happen again" Oaklands promise didn't sound too promising, but Valerie ignored it, trying her best to control what she felt.

"Everything good in there?" Vance yelled from the living room.

Neither one of them responded, just sending each other random looks. Valerie sighed, walking away from Oakland, and heading back into the living room, with the rest. Oakland didn't follow, she just stayed in her spot.

Valerie didn't mind, she was still fuming from what Oakland was telling her. It wasn't fair, she knew nothing about what it felt like. What it felt like to be completely snatched away from everything you love. It sucked.

Valerie sat down beside Bruce and Vance, ignoring the looks they gave her. As the tension was thick between them, Bruce finally spoke up.

He leaned closer to Valerie. "What happened?"

Valerie continued to stare forward at the tv. It was stuck on a commercial, one Valerie couldn't figure out. "Nothing" She replied.

Bruce sighed, turning his attention back to the tv. Bruce knew she was lying, but he decided against asking her again, incase of further upsetting her.

The house phone began to ring, it's annoying ring tone making the group jump in their seats. No one got up, only sitting there, pretending like it wasn't ringing. The ringing ended, before it started again.

Vance groaned as no one got up, so instead, he did. He walked over to the phone, picking up the phone, his eyes immediately traveling over to Valerie, who's eyes were glued to the tv with her knees tucked to her chest.

"Valerie" Vance called. Valerie turned in her spot, looking at Vance in confusion. "It's for you"

Valerie got up from her spot beside Bruce and walked over to Vance. The only person that would care enough to call her would be her sister. So it was the automatic thought that popped into Valerie's brain.

She took the phone from Vance's hand, putting the phone to her ear. Vance went back to Bruce, sitting down by him.

"Hello" Valerie spoke into the phone.

"Valerie" Allies voice appeared. "Where the hell have you been" her voice was more worried than stern, that didn't stop her from trying to make it sound the part though. "I was worried, I know you've seen all the missing posters"

Valerie gulped, feeling guilty for making her sister worry. But she was still very much mad at her for lying. "Donnas missing" Was all Valerie said, like it was the automatic answer.

"Oh" Allie whispered. "Just tell me where you are next time, okay?" She sighed.

"Yeah, im sorry for making you worry" Valerie sincerely apologized.

"Call me if you plan on staying at Finns, also call me when you're coming home" Allie ordered, her voice still soft, full of worry. After all Allie was only 23, looking after a 16 year old.

"Yeah" Valerie breathed out. "I will. See you later"

"See you later"
