"HEY IM GONNA GO TO the bathroom" Oakland whispered to Valerie, as she just nodded her head.
The group of five was still in the living room, too afraid to go anywhere. Bruce was the only one that went home, so his parents wouldn't get worried. But for the rest of them, they didn't have parents who were going to worry about them. Valerie already told Allie that she was staying the at the Blake's. Gwen had begged Valerie to stay the night, so she could sleep with her to feel safe. Which was an automatic yes from Valerie.
They all either laid on their stomach in front of the tv, or sat up. The Texas chainsaw massacre played loudly on the tv in front of them. And Valerie couldn't help but get flashbacks from all the times her and Robin would watch it together.
It had been about five minutes since Oakland went to the bathroom. The house was mainly silent, besides the tv and the occasional talking between Gwen and Valerie.
Valerie's head slowly turned over to look at Vance, he was on the right of her. She watched him intently as he stared at the movie in front of him with interest.
His blue eyes fixed intently on the screen, as he bit his bottom lip as the eery music continued. Her eyes continued to stay fixated on Vance, admiring him in some sort of way.
"You're staring" he deadpanned, as he stared back at her.
Her cheeks were tinted with pink. She had been caught. "And?"
He narrowed his eyes. "Was they're a reason you were staring?"
Valerie gulped back her words, trying her best not to say what she wanted. It almost felt wrong, like she was letting someone down by doing so. So instead she said, "there's an eyelash on your face"
His smirk faltered, before it showed again, as Valerie lifted her hand to remove the eyelash that was never there. She quickly pretended to wipe away the eyelash so they're would be no further questions.
"Thanks, red head"
"You're not welcome, dickwad"
He only chuckled in response, turning his attention back to the tv.
A knock on the door scared the five teens out of their skin, enough for them to huddle up to each other in fear. Once they realized what they had done, they separated from each other.
