SCHOOL WAS A PLACE VALERIE dreaded most. And now that Robin was missing, it was even worse.

The constant whispers and rumors they spread like wild fire were even worse now. The random rumors about Valerie playing the whole school, had spread, soaring through the hallways.

She just chose to ignore them, act like they didn't affect her. And it made people believe her. Her face would stay blank as she walked down the halls, with no emotion present. Like her eyes were an empty place, full of things you'd never hope to see.

She sat in chemistry, waiting for the bell to ring so she could skip the rest of her classes. She just wanted to go home, and never show up again. Everyone was to loud, and to excited. It was school in 1980, there was nothing that special to be so loud.

She held her pencil loosely in her hand as she sketched drawings on the front of her blue note book.

The loud bell finally rang, as all kids threw stuff in their bags, shooting out of the class. Valerie did the same, rushing out of the class, trying her hardest to make it to the front doors with out getting stopped.

She was almost out of the school doors, before her name was called. She wanted to bash her head into a wall. She pretended that she didn't hear them, and continued to walk, but they once again called her name.

She realized there was not escaping this one, so she caved in and turned around. As Valerie, turned around, she wasn't faced with the hallway no more, but instead she was inside a basement.

She just froze, trying to understand where she was. It was a dark basement, with one mattress, and a black phone beside it. Her breath got caught in her throat, realizing how the place looked similar to the grabbers basement. But at the same time it was so different.

Her body went stiff, as Robins voice sounded behind her. He sat in a corner with his head in his hands.

Valerie began to frantically scream Robins name, but it was to no avail. He couldn't hear her.

He slowly rose his head from his hands, revealing his dirty face, along with fresh tears running down his face. Beside him was a sharp piece of concrete. It looked like it had been sharpened, leaving a sharp tip at the end.

His hand shakily moved towards the piece of concrete to grab it. His hand continued to rapidly shake even with the piece of concrete  in his hands.

Tears pooled in Valerie's as she had to continue to listen to Robins pained sobs. She didn't know if this was her mind playing lucid tricks on her or if this was real. And she could really see Robin. And what she was seeing was real.

He moved the piece of concrete to his wrists, closing his eyes, but tears still fell. His sobs grew louder, and full of more pain.

It clicked in Valerie's mind what he was trying to do. In instinct she shot forward, like she was going to be able to help him, and remove the concrete. But her hand just went straight through him, like she was a ghost.

Right when she lost all hope, he threw the concrete across the room. He kept his eyes shut, crying even harder. "I can't, I can't" he repeated, struggling through his sobs.

She sighed in relief, realizing he wasn't gonna do it. But it pained her so much to be could've. And if this was real, she needed to know where she was. Where he was.

She watched as he stood up, walking over to the black phone that hung on the wall, just like in the old basement. He picked up the phone; dialing in a number. The phone didn't ring, but it didn't seem to faze him. He still out it to his ear, staring at the wall in front of him.

"I miss you so much Ria." The nickname only he ever used. "We left on a terrible note, and I want to take each word back. I wish you knew how much i love you. And not in some type of friend way. Ria I'm in love with you. I have no perception of time or what day it is in here, so I hope it hasn't been to long, because it feels like forever." A sob left his mouth, before he spoke again. "I just have this weird feeling that maybe you are getting these, or you can hear me. But that's a hopeless thought that I need to forget about"

He paused like he was trying to find the right words to say. "Just please, don't forget about me" and with those last words, he hung up the phone. He fell onto the mattress curling up in a ball.

She stood their in shock. Everything felt so real, like it wasn't a dream. It was to specific to be a dream. She wanted to speak back, tell him how she felt. Tell him that she felt—

Snap out of it!

Her eyes shot open, ragged breaths leaving her mouth. A thick layer of sweat coated her forehead. She looked around, seeing she was back at the school, just on the outside. She didn't know if this was real, or any of it.

She hastily walked over to a bench, reaching out to feel it, and she could. The cool metal pressed against her skin, feeling relieved she was back.

Then her mind played against her as everything flooded her mind again. Images of Robin close to taking his life. The words he said on the phone. They all replayed in her head on loop, like a menacing game.

"Val, are you okay?"

Valerie quickly turned around, a little to fast. She was faced Oakland. "Oh-uh, yeah, yeah I'm good" he stumbled over he words, trying to form a sentence with out it sounding like she was lying.

Oakland placed a hand on Valerie's shoulder. "Are you sure?"

Valerie nodded. "Yeah, I'm just really tired" She lied right through her teeth. She didn't plan on telling Oakland anything, knowing she wouldn't understand.

Oakland began to pull something out of her back pocket. She unfolded the piece of paper, shoving it in Valerie's hands. It was another missing poster.

This time it was Donna. Donna Braxton. The school sweetest girl. Valerie only talked to her a couple times. But Finn would tell her everything about Donna. He liked her a lot. And she wasn't sure if he had seen it yet, but she was scared of his reaction.

"Shit" Valerie mumbled under her breath. "It's happening again"

"We need to tell the others" Oakland suggested, already pulling her away from the school.

Valerie stopped in her spot, causing Oakland to jerk back. "Wait, aren't they still in school?" Valerie pointed towards the school, that looked empty.

"Val, school ended thirty minutes ago" Oakland informed Valerie in concern. "Valerie, are you sure you're okay?" She asked once again, focusing on the way Valerie seemed lost.

"Uh-yeah, let's just go"

Even with a confused Oakland who wanted to ask questions, she just followed instead, ready too break the news to the group.

They didn't know how well anyone of them would take this, but that was up to the future to decided.
