A/N Magnus sees Alec in his Shadowhunter mode!

"You're not allowed to call yourself bad at dancing ever again," Magnus commented as he twirled Alec around, dancing at the Pandemonium, surrounded by churning bodies.

"It's only because you're so good that you can compensate for my awful skills," Alec replied, his hands on the small of Magnus' back, and through Magnus' way-too-thin shirt, Alec could feel smooth muscle.

"I'd like to disagree, sweetheart," Magnus whispered as they carried on dancing.

Magnus had finally convinced Alec to go dancing at the club with him, and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't elated at the fact Alec had agreed. More to his surprise, the Shadowhunter had allowed Magnus to choose his outfit, but Magnus chose to be kind: a black shirt (he forced Alec to have the top two buttons undonde - Alec could not be convinced to undo the third -) and slightly ripped black jeans.

Magnus himself was wearing tight, leather trousers, a white shirt, but most of his buttons were undonde. His chest was covered with a lot of chains and necklaces, so it wasn't too exposed.

"You look beautiful," Alec whispered as Magnus did a twirl before landing back in Alec's arms.

"Look who's talking," Magnus murmured back as he put his head down on Alec's shoulder.

"Any plans for tomorrow?" Alec inquired.

"I'm seeing a few clients in the morning, but I'm free after the afternoon. Why? Have something in mind?"

"I have a day off tomorrow," Alec explained.

"I may be persuaded to reschedule my clients," Magnus mused, "A handsome Shadowhunter is implying he'd spend a day with me. That's quite persuasive."

"You don't have to," Alec said.

"Of course I do. It's not everyday I can wake up next to you and stay in bed for a good hour just talking."

Alec smiled. "If you're sure."

"When you're involved, darling, I'm always sure about spending tome with you."

Alec kissed Magnus' temple, and Magnus kissed Alec's neck, sending shivers down Alec's whole being. "Magnus," he hissed.

"Yes, sweetheart?" Magnus asked innocently and caught Alec's lips in a kiss, stopping the dancing momentarily. Magnus was swept up in Alec's loving kisses, the soft bites, and quiet gasps when Alec's hands tightended on Magnus' elbows. Magnus pulled away, raising an eyebrow.

"Do you hear that?" Alec asked. Magnus did not.

"Hear what?"

"Someone's screaming I think," Alec said, and Magnus saw Alec switch from the warm boyfriend and sweet kisses, to a confident Shadowhunter, his whole body alert.

"I'm sure it's fine," Magnus brushed it away, wanting to get Alec back into his arms, but Alec seemed determined.

"Magnus, someone's in trouble," Alec said, and the warlock could still not hear a thing. Shadowhunter hearing. "You stay here. I'll be right back."

"Alexander, I'm coming with you."

And so Magnus followed Alec as he weaved around the people, heading towards the lounge area, and now someone was definitely asking for help, the sound coming from the closed off sofas that were the furthest away from the entrance of the lounged.

Alec lit a seraph blade, hid it in his sleeve and edged along, Magnus at his heels, thankful most people were dancing or at the pub rather than at the sofas.
