GIA POV

Because of what I tried to do to myself. I was in the hospital under watch for a whole week. Can't be upset... if it wasn't for Delano I would be dead. Now sure what made him come over but thankfully he did.

He opened the door "hey".

I sat up slowly "hey".

"You look alot better! Like the Gia I know" he smiled.

"Yeah I guess so. Not feeling like myself" I said.

He sat on the small space of the bed "why?".

Shrugging my shoulders "not sure".

He reached out for my hand "just letting you know... Im here for you".

I smiled "thanks".

His hand caressed my hair back so he can see my full face "beautiful".

The doctor came in and cleared their throat "hope I wasn't interrupting anything...".

I shook my head "no".

Delano stood up so the doctor could speak to me "well Gia... your vitals are good. Labs are excellent. But I'm unsure if I want to send you home alone".

Delano chimed in "she won't be. She can stay with me until I feel like she won't harm herself"".

"Excuse me? No! Delano I won't impose you" I said.

The doctor smiled "I like his idea. It's for your own good".

Rolling my eyes "look how about Delano just check up on me once in a while".

"I like my idea better" he smiled.

"I agree" the doctor said.

Moments later Delano was wheeling me out to his car. He ran to the door to open it. I tried standing up but he caught me. "I got it".

He smiled "sure you do. But I'm here to help". Once I was settled in his car he got in and we drove off.

"You know I could go on home. It was nice what you offered infront of the doctor" I said.

"I wasn't joking. I'm making sure you don't try and harm yourself again. Imagine if I wasn't coming over... you would not be here" he said.

I nodded "true".

"Exactly so you will stay with me for two weeks tops and if I see you aren't going to harm yourself then you can go home" he said.

This is about to be weird...

The to Delano's home was quiet. Anytime I felt extremely uncomfortable I didn't speak much. Fiddling with my fingers for most of the ride. Feeling his warm hand over mine "just relax!".

I smile "sorry".

"No need to be sorry! I'm doing this to make sure you don't harm yourself again!" He said.

Not that I wanted this to be topic of conversation...

"Gia I don't know what I would've done if you didn't make it" he continued. I couldn't say anything. Never having someone actually care about me before. Pulling up his home... nervousness hit me. I'll be living with this grown man for two weeks!.

He turned the car off "well we are here".

I nodded and opened the car door. He stopped me "let me help you out".

Looking away I smiled "okay".

He ran around the car and opened the door handing out his hand for me to grab. Slowly standing me up "you good?".  I nodded and we continued walking inside.

Opening the door "welcome to my home". Looking around quickly... a lot bigger than mine.

"Don't be shy" he joked.

Walking inside I stood there just looking around. He was a clean person. Very organized.

"You can take the second bedroom. It's a guest bedroom... the bed is very comfy" he said.

Again I was quiet.

"Gia... look I know this is new for you. But all I'm doing is trying to help" he said.

"I know and I'm grateful. I'm not showing it but I am" I said. He smiled "good".

Later on that night... I was starving but I didn't want any take out. Opening his fridge he had actual groceries. I was shocked. Taking out some vegetables. Then seeing had a piece of frozen steak... I can whip up something real quick.

"Damn what smells so good?" Delano asked.

"I was hungry so I just whipped up some beef and veggies! Want some?" I asked.

He nodded "yeah of course! I won't deny cooked food". Placing a plate in-front of him he smiled from ear to ear. "Gia this looks so good" he said.

"Eat up!" I said. He took the first bite and his eyes rolled in the back of his head.

I smiled "so it's good?".

He was still chewing but nodded.
