Scars | Chapter 10

TW: SELF HARM

*SMALL TIME SKIP*
Will was finally slowly waking up from his nap, and the cold was already killing him. He hated this weather so much, especially because they lived in a cabin and not in an actual house. Will now fully woke up and then sat up in his bed. He looked around the room, and then he looked at his wrist. Right. he totally forgot what he did last night. After Will had been traumatized by Vecna, and Mike and Lonnie who were both actually Vecna said those things to him, Will has cut himself. He knew that it wasn't actually Mike and his father, but it still hurted so much.

*FLASHBACK*

It was now a few hours ago after Will has been totally traumatized by his worst fear, and Will just couldn't sleep because of it. The things that Vecna made Mike and his father Lonnie say hurted Will so much, let's also not forget that Will almost lost his life a few hours ago, and he was so scared that Vecna maybe would come back once again. It was in the middle of the night, and Will still didn't close one eye while his best friend Mike was already sleeping peacefully next to him in the sleeping bag.

"Aw, you look so pathetic."

"Nobody will ever like you."

"FREAK! FREAK! FREAK! FREAK! FREAK! FREAK! FREAK!"

The things Vecna said to Will weren't the only things that hurted Will alot and broke his heart, actual humans said these kind of things to him too, example: the bully that Will met in the restaurant. Was Will really that annoying? was Will really a freak? Will couldn't take the pain anymore. What if all the nice things his mother Joyce, Mike, El, Hopper, Lucas and Dustin said to him were all lies? what if? what if the truth was that Will was annoying and a freak. Will slowly got tears in his eyes, and after a few minutes he just couldn't take it anymore.

"It's not my fault you don't like girls!"

"We're friends! we're friends."

"Your clothes look like it was found in a trashcan, couldn't your mommy afford more?"

Will grabbed his pillow and hugged it as tight as possible, he then pushed his face in his pillow and began crying, he cried in his pillow so Mike wouldn't hear it too much and wake up. Will sobbed and cried for a good 20 minutes atleast, until the pain was just getting way too much for him. He IS a freak. He IS annoying. Those two things are facts, and Will being sweet and not annoying were just stupid lies people told him. Probably just because they found it annoying when Will was sad.

Will thought for a second, and got an really stupid idea. An idea actually nobody should do. What if Will cuts himself? What then? would anyone even care? Will slowly wipped the tears from his face, and then sat up. He really wanted to do this. He thought he deserved it. Will now got off the bed, and just stood there, looking around the room to find something he could hurt himself with. Then, he saw something. Scissors.

Will walked towards the small bucket with pens and scissors now. Bucket? yes, bucket. It for real looked like a small bucket. I guess El loved buckets, because it was from El and this isn't the only thing she has of a bucket. Will looked at the scissors for a while, and then grabbed one of them. It was a basic gray one. Will opened the scissors, and brought the sharp part of the scissors to his skin by the top of his wrist.

Will then started making small cuts on his wrist with the scissors. Since scissors aren't as sharp as a knife, the cuts didn't bleed, but they did look like pretty bad scars. He did it for about 5 times, and then finally stopped because it hurted too much. Will put the scissors back in the small bucket with pens and scissors. He now looked at himself in the mirror for a while and took a deep breath, and then walked back to his bed so he could try to sleep again.

*OUT OF FLASHBACK*

Will stood up from his bed now, and walked to the pretty small coat rack that he had in the bedroom, and took a hoddie. It was a gray soft hoodie that was kinda too big for him. It also had a hood, long sleeves and a zipper like it was a jacket. Will decided to wear this hoodie to cover up the scars, and he was really hoping nobody had noticed the scars yet. Will now walked out of his bedroom just to see Mike and El laughing at some TV shows since they were watching TV, Will knew it was a friendship thing though and that El and Mike probably already broke up.

"Will! How did you sleep buddy?" Mike said smiling at him. For some reason Mike found Will adorable in the clothes he was wearing right now. He loved it when Will was wearing oversized clothes, it made him look cute. "Pretty well." Will said, obviously smiling back. Since there was enough space on the couch, Will plopped down on the couch next to Mike. Mike was sitting in the middle right now, both Will and El next to him. "Does she know?" Will asked while watching TV with El and Mike.

"Know what?" Mike asked confused, why was he acting like they were a thing? "That we are boyfriends?" Will said, making Mike quiet. BOYFRIENDS!? DID WILL JUST ASK ME IF HE COULD BE MY BOYFRIEND!? Mike basically yelled at himself in his mind. He wanted to be Will's boyfriend SO BADLY. That was his biggest wish right now, and seeing that Will already saw Mike as his boyfriend made him so happy.

Mike blushed, and then finally decided to answer Will. "B-Boyfriends..? Are you asking if i want to be your boyfriend!?" Mike said with obvious JOY in his voice. "I mean, yeah, you don't have to say ye-"

"OF COURSE I WILL SAY YES!" Mike interrupted Will. These words made Will so happy, and it fixed his whole mood. "Awh, you guys make such a sweet couple!" El laughed. Right. Uhm. El was sitting next to Mike too. "Oh shut up El!" Will joked, laughing too now. He wasn't trying to be rude to El, this is just how they made jokes together.

"Let's continue watching the show, shall we? I don't wanna miss this." El recommended and the two boys nodded in agreement. It was one of El's favorite shows, and no way she was going to miss this just because her brother and ex were flirting with each other, she found it cute though. While El and Mike were watching the show, Will just kept staring at his boyfriend, and he didn't focus on the show one bit.

He then moved a little closer to Mike and laid his head on Mike's chest, making them cuddled up.
