Kotoko POV

I wake up in my room and go to the bathroom, I look at myself in the mirror and felt... uncomfortable, regardless I put my hair in twin tails and change my clothes. I make my way to the kitchen to have breakfast with my new family.

Komaru: Morning Koko.

Nagito: Hello Kotoko.

Kotoko: Morning Big sis Maru, Morning Servant.

Toko: You good kid you look like sh!t.

Komaru: Toko! You shouldn't say that.

Nagisa: She's right though. Are you okay Kotoko?

Kotoko: I'm fine.

Nagito: you sure?

Kotoko: yeah I'm fine.

Kotoko (thoughts): I was acting, really I felt awful and I didn't even know why.

(In the afternoon)

Kotoko (thoughts): The more I look in the mirror the more I hate my appearance. It's awful so...so awful. I can't help but cry.

Komaru POV

Komaru (thoughts): The way Kotoko is acting it seems familiar, kinda like.... Makoto. Kotoko is acting like Makoto when he was younger and the reason he was acting that way was because he was trans.... I wonder.

I go to Kotoko's room to check on her but when I did....

Kotoko: *sob* Why a-am I l-like this? *sob* W-why....

Komaru: Kotoko!

Kotoko: ! B-big sis?!

I run to Kotoko and pull her in a hug.

Komaru: Koko take deep breaths okay? Deep breaths.

Kotoko: ...

Komaru: Hey do you want to talk about it?

Kotoko: Big sis Komaru?

Komaru: yes?

Kotoko: Can you cut my hair?

Komaru: oh sure!

Kotoko POV

Komaru: How short do you want it?

Kotoko: Short like Nagisa, Jataro and Masaru!

Komaru: Okay.

After Big sis Maru cut my hair I looked in the mirror and felt... at ease.

Komaru: I'm not the best so sorry if it's messy.

Kotoko: No I like it.

Komaru: Really? I'm glad.
