"Okay now I really need to get going, I'll see you later today" Carina smiled before she left.

The huge school crowd started to scream. See usually people screamed and shouted and cheered whenever pep rallies occurred. But in this case they weren't cheering because they were pepped up....they where all screaming in fear.

Now Sophie got what she wanted, to be top girl while Maya was out, but as she was falling from the sky on to the ground of the schools stadium, all of that soon became regret.

"SOMEBODY HELP!" One of the cheer girls screamed as one of the on deck paramedics rushed to Sophie's side.

Karma...

The effect of someone's previous actions.. Karma comes in different forms, in different ways, in different kinds. There's good karma, and bad karma, but as we all can tell, this is bad karma.

Carina stood in the middle of the big school stadium in shock, did she let her intrusive thoughts get the best of her? Carina is also a top girl but she put a halt on that position until Maya comes back, is what she told coach.. but why would one want to trade top girl for a base position?

"Carina!" Victoria ran to her, pulling her by her arm into the nearest corner. "Tell me you did not.."

"I-i-I didnt, I zoned out for second" Carina panicked.

"Okay calm down, i wont tell anyone, but did you do that on purpose?" The curly headed girl asked.

"I-"

"Carina be honest with me now...I know she hurt Maya and maybe that angered you..."

"I didnt do it on purpose, we threw her up and wasn't prepared for her to fall down the way she did, hurting her for what she did to Maya might have crossed my mind but I would never act on it" Carina shoved past Victoria, walking out of the stadium into the the lobby. She was pacing back and forth for a while she didn't know how long she was going for.

"Carina it's okay, she's okay" a girl said knocking her out of her thoughts.

"I  dont care about h-...I do care- I- Lauren?" Carina stammered over her words not fully realizing who it was until she got control of her brain again.

Flashback ( chapter 9)

"Yes im fine, im good i just needed some air, " Carina said as calmly as possible, she got up and made her way inside of the building, with Maya following behind her, they went into the bathroom. There was another girl in there touching up her make up. She had long, dark red straight hair, with hazel eyes and tanned skin, she was a little shorter than Carina and she wore a green and white cheer uniform.

Carina rinsed her mouth out looking into the mirror at her destroyed make up, you could tell she was crying. "Uhh do you have some make wipes" Carina asked the girl beside her

"Yeah, here" she handed carina the pack.

"Thanks...and gum, do you have any gum? Mint." Carina asked again.

She handed Carina a piece of spearmint gum. "Do you want any?" The girl offered some to Maya.

"Sure, thanks" Maya accepted the gum.

"Actually can i see that please, look at my face" Carina exclaimed, pointing to herself as the girl chuckled. "My makeup is destroyed."

"Yeah, yeah take it, even though you look georgeous without it" she said seeing that Carina had taken off her make up.
