0007: The start of our journey

The morning came faster then before. This is the day. Seek was already awake and ready. - Are you sure you can walk now? - He worried again. - Yes I am. Let's pack food and get going. - You answered dryly. After you packed weapons, water and food into a backpack, you wandered forwards in different rooms without heasitation or fear. The things that happened last night stressed you out, somewhy. You just wanted to get out and forget everything that happened in here. Seem was always a step behind you, watching out for danger.

When you entered another room,you didn't see a door leading to a higher level. Only a vent. You crouched and ripled the metal on it's entrance. That monent a spark of realization run throught you. You deeply inhaled. Seek rested his hands on your shoulder. - Want me to go front for a while? - He asked with his gentle deel voice. That voice madr you shiver over and over again, everytime you heard it. You let out a soft sigh, then smiled. - Yes. That would be good. - You answered, following Seek in the long, small vent. That feeling caught you again. You felt protected by him again. He helped you up after you crawled out. - Is everything alright? - He overthinked again. - I'm fine, don't worry. - A flirty grin appeared on Seek's face. - I already know that you look fine.- You felt your pulse speed up, and you  gave him a happy smile. - You can't complain either. - You flirted back.
But then it hit you again. You were doing this dump sfuff again. You forgot about everything while having these few words with him. You wantes to feel closer to him without knowing you actually wanted that.

-I can go on front now. Thanks Seek. - You said again coldly, then rushed from one room to another. Seek slowly started to realize that something bothers you. And at that monent, he would do anything to solve your problems and see you comfident and happy just for once.

When you stopped for a break, he was finally able to ask the question. - Y/n I know something is wrong. You know that you can tell me anything. - But you still refused to open up to him. - Everything is perfectly okay. I don't know what you're talking about. - You said trying to avoid eye contact with Seek. But when you saw his face, you barely could resist. So you finally took a seat and start talking. - I'm sorry it's just... It's a big step for both of us I think. And I feel like you're the only truest friend I ever had and It's just hard for me. Escaping will be a huge slice of cake, you are hunted and I am hunted. - You explained, trying to let out all of the stress you were holding. Seek pulled you into a friendly and comforting  hug. - But you want to escape right? -

You didn't answer on that one. You just appreciated the moment. Maybe this feeling isn't bad after all. You carefully stood up, and went on to the next room. You two came really far away by now. Door 84. This room was a big one with more lockers in it, tables,two beds and lots of books. This one seemed to be a good shelter for tonight. You packed out the suppllies in the drawers, and grabbed a book from the many. Before you could start to read and relax, Seek spoke up. - Hey Y/n, could you look around in other rooms and get a lighter?-
-Yes of course. I'll be careful. -

You explored some rooms, but you could'nt find a lighter, a flashilght or any source of light for dark rooms. Behind the next door was the thing you never hiped to see. At least not today. Of course, a dark room. But you were brave enough to walk in and look around. No one else there. Luckily, you spotted a flashilght on one of the tables. The silent room's silence was broken by the most annoying sound you can ever hear in this cursed hotel.

"Psst"

You already felt rage take over you when you turned around to see the creature with tentacles. - Get the hell away already. I'm with Seek, and I'm sure he'll slap that pretty smile of you off your face. - That thing seemed to be scared of ths name of Seek. - I didn't mean to scare you, mortal. I just wanted to ask what you are doing in this dark room this late. - It's voice was truly cute. - My name is Screech. It's nice to meet you. - You shook his hand, then introduced yourself too. - I'm Y/n. It's also nice to meet you Screech. To be honest, I find you really interesting and well...adorable.-
(sorry but i cant help it hes so cute😭)

So it's almost midnights so we'll continue tomorrow. I hope yall find interesting these more adventurous parts. But just to tell ya it will just get more interesting so have a nice morning, day, night, afternoon and see you in the next chapter.
