This is a re-written and hopefully better version of an old book with the same title that I wrote back in 2020.
Beatrice Ellison is a 13 year old girl who is determined to find a place where she belongs. But in order to do that she needs to find out...

"Here you are, two strawberry cones with extra sprinkles." I smiled handing the ice cream over to Nicky and Holly, the two 6 year olds cheered happily and I turned to look at Karen.
"You really don't mind watching him today?" I asked her as I leaned against the counter.
"Of course not, Holly an I planned to go to the pool this afternoon anyway. An I know Joyce an Hopper are both working all day so it's really no trouble." She smiled
"Beatrice, away from the counter! We talked about this, it's like against child law or something!" Steve said as he stood at the window. Robin recently told Steve about child labor so now he thinks kids doing anything that requires work is against the law.

"Bye Nicky! Be good." I smiled blowing him a kiss before trading places with Robin as she moved to take care of the next customer.
"What are you even doing back here?" I asked going to the back room where Steve was standing against the counter eating a banana.
"I'm on my break, shouldn't you be at a lesson or something?"
"No, I don't have lessons today. I just came to make another payment on my guitar but the store doesn't open for another 30 minutes. Eddie said I'm making a lot of progress." I said excitedly.
"You really shouldn't be spending so much time with him, kid. He's a freak." Steve repeated for like the hundredth time in months.
"He's not a freak, Steve. I think he's cool and you would to if you just talked to him, besides how many people do you know that play the electric guitar and would teach me, a girl, how to play for free?" I pointed out again. It took weeks for me to find a teacher in Hawkins and even longer for me to find one that would agree to teach me anything other than the piano. I need Eddie, he not only teaching me for free but he never makes me fell stupid when I don't get it right away.
"He's in a cult!" Steve exclaimed an I rolled my eyes.
"It's not a cult Steve. It's a club that plays the same game that the boys play. Eddie is a good person, when it rained last week I helped him bring all the stray animals we could find to his trailer until the storm was over. He's even sewn the tears in Nicky and Holly's stuffed animals on occasion. Look I'm not asking you to be his best friend or anything but will you at least try to be nice to him?" I asked clasping my hands together with a fake pout on my face and Steve rolled his eyes.
