I slowly came out of my shock as the morning dew settled on the long fallen leaves around us. The morning sky was just barely peaking through the trees, creating enough light for me to see my surroundings. I looked over at Eddie as I heard his teeth chattering. He was sitting with his body as compact as possible to persevere body heat and I immediately felt bad. I wasn't cold at all, in fact I never get cold so I immediately moved closer to him, wrapping my arms around his body. His clothes felt like ice so I made myself as warm as possible without burning him.

He left out a soft sigh of relief, leaning his head against mine, but we said nothing. After awhile his teeth stopped chattering and his clothes were mostly dry.

"Okay...okay...bones... aren't...an then...but then it's not, so we have...hmm hmm hmm...no, no, no, no. Yes!" I repeated over an over as I paced in front of Skull Rock. My brain was on overdrive and I couldn't think. I was absolutely freaking out.

I barely registered the others arriving or Eddie telling them that I'd been pacing for over an hour. After he was dry he ran to a nearby construction site to steal a walkie-talkie. However while he was gone a squirrel or something broke a stick nearby and I've been pacing ever since.

"Vecna, Vecna, Vecna.... Gotta stop Vecna. In the Upside Down, yep! Perfect, we go, we burn him in his house. Then he can't win! Hmm, Hmm, Hmm-"

"Beatrice?" A voice called as someone put their hands on my shoulders but I immediately flinched away. I'd stopped pacing and I was now staring blankly at the sky as flashes of memories that weren't mine filled my head. It happened for the first time last night, after we got to skull rock, it was like I was seeing the future. Or, or the past maybe? I wasn't sure, it was all very hard to decipher.

"If we stop him, we win. We beat him at his own game...he's dead. We won, he lost! HA! It's over-"

"Beatrice!" Dustin yelled shaking my shoulders and I immediately looked at him.

"What?" I asked

"Are you okay?" He questioned looking at me and my eyes glanced from him to our friends standing beside the rocks. Max, Lucas, Robin, and Nancy were looking at me with wide terrified eyes, as Steve looked to Eddie for some kind of explanation.

"What?" I repeated

"Do you know what you just said?" Nancy asked speaking up at I look at her confused. Truthfully I didn't realize I was talking out loud.

"Uh, no not really." I muttered trying to think or what I possibly could have said to make her look at me like that.

"Trix, you've been mumbling about Vecna and his house for a hour. An you don't remember any of it?" Eddie explained as I buried my hands in my hair.

"I don't know. I...last night, I couldn't sleep. I don't know maybe I was in shock or something but it kept replying in my mind. What happened to Patrick, an then I was this door. It wasn't just any old door it had a-"

"Stain glass window?" Max asked and I nodded, unsure of how she could know that but I continued to talk anyway.

"Yeah, with a rose in the middle. An the more I thought about it, the more I saw these memories? Or maybe they were visions or something, but they weren't mine. I mean I wouldn't do this. I couldn't do this..." I explained as tears filled my eyes when the vision of the entire town on fire, people dying in the streets filled my mind. At the center of it all was Venca sitting on a throne of vines as El an I stood beside him.

"It's okay, it's okay. We're gonna figure it out." Dustin whispered pulling me in for a hug but it just seemed so impossible.

"Okay...we'll come back to that. Eddie, what happened yesterday?" Nancy asked as I moved to sit next to him. My legs now extremely tired from constant pacing.
