The two suns were blazing the desert sands as the horizon was endless, with no sign of life or any source of water.

"Lost."

A man spoke as he wonders through the desert, panting as the heat of the sun was affecting him, "I am lost. And yet, I can feel his presence. So close, so close." he rambles to himself.

Using his walking stick to move forward, his hood the only source of shade, "I can see him in my mind's eye." the man raised his head, revealing himself as the vengeful former sith, Darth Maul. "Kenobi," he growls.

Then reels his head back and rages at the top of his lungs, "KENOBI!!!!!!" he cries as his voice echoes through the hills and tunnels of the sands.

Maul pants, resting on his knees, panting to himself, breathing heavily he leans against his walking stick that held his saber. "Will it end here, like this?" he questions, then shook his head, "No. No!" he growls, standing back to his feet. "I must draw Kenobi out to tempt his noble heart. But how? How?" he questions.

The sands brush in the gentle wind as an idea hits him, making his eyes widen in wonder, "I know. Ooh, I know." he said then pulls something out of his pocket and opens his palm, revealing it to be a piece of an artifact.

It was a calm night as the rebels were patrolling or resting. Ezra rested peacefully in his bunk with Zeb as Leo was still working on his ship and Mako volunteered to help him.

She handed him a wrench as he traded the welder for the wrench "Are you still not talking to them?" she asks, breaking the silence. He said nothing as he tightens the bolt. Mako just frowns at him "You can't ignore them forever, Leo." she informs him.

He stops for a moment then looks at her, "They did that pretty well for me." he answers as he places the wrench in the tool kit. "And why, in the whole of the galaxy would I even consider leading them?" he questions, hooking the power cell into place, then pulling out from the engine pit and placing the flooring back on.

Then took the kit and walks back to the bridge, Mako right behind him. "I know a trailed with the darksaber and I know how important tradition is to them, I just..." he spoke as he syncs in the system.

Mako just walks up and looks at him, "You still feel unworthy of their leadership." she spoke, Leo just looks away, "How can I lead them? I still feel as if..." he stops leaning against the panel, Mako just looks at him and places her hand over his. "The most terrifying one can do is leap, fearing that that sudden stop will be right there, with no one to catch you," she spoke.

Leo just turns and looks at her, taking her hands in his, "When I ran from you all, I was afraid I disappoint you all, my mother included. Thinking it was my fault we lost Ashoka and my father, and Kanan losing his sight, I was so desperate in gaining more power to protect you all." she spoke, the memories of endless training and how determined she was to gain more power.

"But while training under Suri to gain that power, I didn't realize how far I was failing until you all saw when I..." she pauses, recalling the moments she went dark. Leo just looks at her, she shook them away and looks back at him, "What I'm trying to say is... you have something that your people now see in you, something that grew bright enough for them to see." she places her hand on his chest, over his beating heart.

His eyes looked down her hand as hers were right on him, "Your inner strength, you showed it when you wield the darksaber and how you display that strength to the Wren clan and have been since." she spoke, making him look at her, seeing her silver eyes looking right back at him. "Talk to them, hear what they have to say, and decided where to do next, using this," she said, motioning to her hand.
