"Hey Dusty," I said as I walked to the front door to greet my brother. "Hey," he responded with an annoyed tone, he walked pasted me. "Did you lose to Will again?" I asked as I followed him upstairs. "Yeah," He said as he entered his room. "What did you lose this time?" I asked standing in the doorway. "My X-Men 134," he Sighed. "Bummer," I said. "Get ready for bed you twerp, I'll come check on you in ten and if you're not asleep by then I'll take away the rest of your comics," I threatened, before going to get ready for bed myself.

After I got ready for bed, I did the dishes and cleaned up a bit, knowing that my mom was going to get home late.

Later, walked back into Dustin's room. "I'm driving you to school tomorrow, if you wake up late I'll make you walk," I threatened. Dustin responded with a giggle before getting comfortable in his bed. "Night," I said. "Night Y/n!" He responded before I turned off the light. "Love you!" Dustin yelled, I didn't respond and closed the door. "Hey!" Dustin yelled. I walked back into the room. "Love you too," I said quickly before closing the door again.

I awoke next morning with a headache, I got ready for school and took a pain killer to ease the pain. "Dustin!" I yelled from downstairs as I held my bag and a piece of toast. "Coming!" I heard him yell back before hearing footsteps. He ran down the stairs at full speed. "Here," I said as I handed him the toast.

"Bye mom!" I called out. "Bye sweetie!" My mom responded.

He ran out the door and rushed to my car. "Wipe your feet." I said. Dustin gave me a cheeky smile before wiping his feet on the inside of my car. "No! On the outside not the inside! Goddammit!"

I parked in a spot close to the middle school. "Meet me here after school no later." I said sternly. "And be good, don't let anyone push you around." I said. "Okay, Mom." Dustin said sarcastically. "I'm serious!" I yelled as Dustin started running towards the middle school.

I let out a sigh before grabbing my bag, locking my car and walking into the halls.

I got my books out of my locker and stood around waiting for my friend Jonathan. When he didn't show up I didn't think much of it.

My headache came back, so I walked to the bathroom to get water to take another painkiller. I walked into the girls bathroom to find a Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington making out against a wall. "This is not something I wanted to see today," I said standing in the doorway. They pulled apart when they heard me. "Hey, y/n." Nancy said, I nodded slightly before she rushed out. "Come on!" Steve yelled at me.

"Oh, I'm sorry did I ruin your make out session with your princess my king?" I teased. "God you're annoying." "God you're a prick." I said as he shoved past me, out of the bathrooms.

Soon after the bell rang, and well nothing interesting happen until fourth period.

I sat in the middle row of my history class when there was a knock at the door. A police officer and the principle stood outside the classroom. "Sorry to disturb, could we borrow...Y/n...Henderson?" The principle asked. I looked up in shock, the teacher signaled me to go with them. I packed up and walked out of the class as I followed the officer.

"What did I do?" I asked. "You're not in trouble." He simply responded. He led me to the middle school. "Is this about Dustin?" I asked. "No." The officer said.

I walked into a room, when I turned around I saw Dustin, Mike and Lucas sitting on a couch with an officer and Chief Hopper in front of them. "Uh..." I said. "Please take a seat, miss..." "Henderson." I finished for him as he looked at me strangely. "I'm adopted." I stated as Hopper looked between the two of us. Hopper nodded his head slightly before he continued. "We just want to ask you some questions. Your friend Will...he's gone missing." He said as I sat down, my heart dropped. The silence was even louder than before.
