We all got out of the car and got to work. Lucas, Mike and Max started to gear up and tied a rope around the front of the car and thre it into the hole. "Guys. Oh, no. Guys. Hey, where do you think you're going? What are you, deaf? Hello? We are not going down ther right now. I made myself clear. This ends right now!" Steve demanded as i made my way to the boot.
I hid my pain as I walked on my bad leg.
I began to grab supplies. I grabbed goggles and a bandana as Steve came over to me and Dustin. "Steve, you're upset, I get it. But the bottom line is, a party member requires assistance, and it is our duty to provide that assistance. Now, I know you promised Nance that you would keep us safe. So, keep us safe." Dustin said as he handed Steve a backpack and his bat.
Steve sighed before taking it. Dustin left.
I grabbed a lighter and swung a backpack onto my shoulder. "How's the face?" I asked as I closed the boot. "Feels like my heads about to pop." He replied. "Been there." I said as I handed him goggles and a bandana. He smiled. I watched as he struggled to put it on. "Here." I said as I helped him tie it.
"You don't have to do this. You could stay here. You don't look too good." I said as I put my goggles on. "No, it's okay I'm fine." He said.
We began to walk to the hole. He jumped down first before helping me in gently.
I pulled out a torch and turned it on.
"Holy shit." Steve said. "Yeah, I'm pretty
sure it's this way." Mike said. "You're pretty
sure, or you're certain?" Dustin said. "I'm 100% sure. Just follow me and you'll know." Mike repsonded.Whoa, whoa. Hey, hey, hey. I don't think so." Steve said as he walked dover to Mike. "Any of you little shits die down here, I'm getting the blame. Got it, dipshit?" Steve said.
"I got it. I said as I grabbed the map from Mike. "I've been down here, I have a sense of what to do. Don't step on the vines and, you see those things?" I said as I pointed to the little pimple like things in the walls. "Don't go near them."
"Come on." I said as I started walking. "Hey, a little hustle." I yelled as no one moved.
We had been walking for a while as I led everyone. "What is this place?" Max asked. "Come on, let's keep moving." I said as I continued to walk.
I heard a scream. I froze. "Help! Help!" I heard Dustin scream. I ran over to him. "What happened?" I asked. "It's in my mouth! Some got on my mouth! Shit!" Duatin yelled as he took off his mask. "Dustin! I told you not to go near those things!" I yelled in panic. "I'm okay." He said as he smiled at me. "Fuck you." I said as I pushed him.
After more walkng my leg started feeling like it was about to fall off.
I stopped when we reached the hub. "All right, Wheeler. I think we found your hub." Steve said. "Drench it." Mike instructed.
We drenched it in gasoline. Every inch. "You ready?" Steve asked as I held out the lighter. "Ready." Everyone repsonded. "Light her up." Dustin said. I opened the lighter and flicked it on before throwing it into the hub.
Heat hit my face as the place lit on fire. "Go, go, go!" I yelled. We started running.
"Help! Help!" I heard Mike yell. I ran over to him. "Hold on!" Steve yelled as he began to hit the vine on Mike's foot. We heard growling.
Before we knew it hundreds of demo-dogs stood in front on us. "Steve, pull him out and run." I demanded as I stood in front of them. "What are you doing?" Steve yelled as he got Mike free. "No clue." I said, suddenly I felt a rush of adrenaline as the creatures came closer and closer. I felt something call out to me, I felt a headache come on. I held out my hand as if I was no longer in control of my own body.
