The next day, Dustin, Steve sat behind a plant looking for Russians, Robin sat in the back, listening to the recording trying to crack the code. Meanwhile, I served customers.

"The week is long, the silver cat feeds when blue meets yellow in the west." I heard Robin mumble. There was a knock at the back door, Robin was too occupied and didn't hear it. I sighed and walked into the backroom, opening the back door. IT was a delivery man. 'Lynx', his uniform read. I signed for the packages. "Have a nice day." He said. "Yeah, you too." I responded. When he turned around I saw the logo on the back of his shirt. It was a silver cat.

I groaned and slouched. God, I'm really going to do this, aren't I? I said to myself.

I walked over to Robin and tapped her on the shoulder. "Could I see that for a second?" I asked looking at her notepad. Robin nodded and smiled before handing me the notepad. I read over the code.  "The week is long, the silver cat feeds when blue meets yellow in the west." I said out loud. I looked up and stared at a wall.  I walked out of scoops and out into the lobby of the mall.

"Silver cat.." I whispered to myself as I stood on a bench by the fountain. "A trip to China sounds nice..." I said as I faced towards the food court. I noticed a Chinese place. 'Imperial Panda.' "A trip to China sounds nice." I said with a smile. I looked down to the notepad. "If you tread lightly...tread lightly?" I said as I looked around. My eyes landed on a shoe store. 'Kaufman Shoes'. "When blue meets yellow in the west...blue meets yellow." I turned to the big clock on a wall that had blue and yellow hands. "Nine." I said as I jumped down from the bench. "Y/n! What are you doing?" Dustin asked. "I cracked it." I whispered. "What?" Steve asked. "I cracked the code!" I said a little louder. "That's my girl!" Robin said as she hugged me.

We sat in the back room as I explained my thoughts process.

"I was signing for a package, on  the back of the guys shirt had a silver cat." I explained. "So?" Steve asked. "I'm not done."

"Then I looked around. 'A trip to China sounds nice.' And I spotted the food place Imperial Panda." I said. "When blue and yellow meets in the west. That means when the clock says, 'Nine'." I went on. "This still isn't making any sense." Dustin said.

"The silver cat is a delivery and transportation service which means that Imperial Panda and Kaufman shoes is expecting a shipment." I explained. "A shipment at 9 so if we wait until nine we can see if they're delivering any deadly weapons." Robin picked up on what I was trying to say. "Yes! Exactly." I said excitedly. "So we wait here until 9?" Steve asked. "I mean if you want to be an American hero." I responded.

Dustin and I went to go check out the roof. We found a spot that looked over the supply rooms. "So, you're helping us now?" Dustin asked. "As much as I'd hate to admit it, yes. I can't let anything bad happen to you." I said. It was raining. We went back to Scoops to tell Robin and Steve the news.

"I have raincoats in my car." Steve said. We all looked at him confused. "What? Incase one of the shitheads need it." he defended. "You do care about our kids!" I said. "Shut up." He responded.

After Steve got the raincoats we all devised a plan and chatted to pass the time.

A few minutes before 9 we made our way to the roof. Dustin used the binoculars as we all sat in the cold rain. At exactly 9 a truck pulled in. "Look for Imperial Panda and Kaufman Shoes." I yelled over the rain. A guy in a yellow jacket came whistling while pushing some boxes. "They're with that whistling guy, ten o'clock." Dustin said.

"What do you think's in there?" Steve asked. "Guns, bombs?" I suggested. "Chemical weapons?" Robin added. "Whatever it is, they're armed to the teeth." Dustin said. "Great. That's great." Steve responded.

The guards opened up two grey doors. "Hey, what's in there?" I asked. "It's just more boxes." Dustin said. "Let me check it out." Steve said as he tried to grab the binoculars. "No, I'm still looking." Dustin protested. "Lemme see it." "Hang on!" The binoculars banged on the metal pipe in front of us grabbing the attention of the guards. "Duck!" I yelled.

We all laid in the ground. I felt something rub my hand. I looked over to find Steve's hand holding mine. We both looked at each other and let go of each others hands.

When we were sure the coast was clear we went back inside. After wrapping our heard around our big discovery we decided to go home and get some rest. When Dustin and I got home, I was sitting on my bed, reading. Dustin walked into my  room. "Thank you for helping." He said as he sat down next to me. "If shit goes down, we're leaving, no putting our lives at risk. Deal?" I said as I put my book down. "Deal." He said, he hugged me. I hugged him back, squeezing him tightly.

"So, you and Steve, huh?" He asked as he put his head on my shoulder. I pushed him away. "Shut up. I hate him." I said. "Mhm, sure. You guys haven't argued in days." Dustin smiled. "Fine, he's bearable, him helping you and the rest of the party last year made me gain some respect for him." I explained. "fair enough, but he's not that bad." Dustin said. "Whatever you say." I said as I scuffed his hair. "Now go to bed." "Night, y/n."

"Night."
