Winter Break

We were officially on winter break. It had been a while since the incident, and we were all trying to get back to a normal life.

I visited Hopper at the police station to help out a bit, like an intern. He thought it would help me, keep me busy, give me, 'experience'.

Jonathan and I hung out with Nancy a lot, and occasionally Steve. It was unbearable. He kept calling me 'Chief', and went back to his obnoxious, cocky, self in the blink of an eye.

Other than that, nothing really happened which was fine by me, after the experience we had? Having a 'boring', winter break was more than fine.

Winter break was coming to an end, a new year a fresh start...right?

I layed on my bed as I flipped through a magazine. "Hey, y/n. My favorite sister." Dustin said as he entered my room. "Your only sister." I said as I turned the page, not bothering to look up. "Still my favorite." He said. "What do you want?" I asked, looking up at him. "A ride to the arcade tomorrow night." He responded. "Fine." I said. "Really?" He asked. "Yeah, but I'm coming too, it sounds like fun." I said. "Deal." He responded, with a smile. "Now get out of my room before I throw a book at you." I said, going back to my magazine.
