William, Hannah, and Robert exited the Plane, into the Wellington International Airport, which smelled of hand sanitizer and rubber. They anxiously looked at each other, as the bustling airport had extra security, located all around the building.

"I'm surprised we even made it this far." Rob said pessimistically. The three of them were on thin ice, all it took was one suspicion, and they would be arrested and taken in to the nearest police office thousands of miles away from there home.

They had to stay low, so they decided to be out of here as fast as they can. There first stop was to grab there bags, but unfortunately there was a load of police officers protecting the bags, so they could get checked.

"You guys stay behind, i'll get the bags." William assured, stepping in front of them to go talk to the police. He walked causally and tried to hide his face as he looked around and then at the cop, guarding the suit cases.

"What's he doing?" Rob asked, leaning over to Hannah who watched in confusion. William politely tapped the officer on the shoulder.

"Excuse me sir, I need to get home to my parents or they'll be worried." William pleaded, looking up at the officer who chuckled.

"Sorry kiddo, no can do. How about get into contact with your mom or something." The officer snickered, thinking this was some joke.

"She's in the hospital right now, this might be the last time i can see her." William lied hesitantly, thinking if it's really worth it to lie to the cops.

"Aww, bud. Tell her I said best of luck." He crouched down and patted Williams shoulder, agitating him a bit more but he tried his best to stay calm.

"Please sir, I need to talk to her." He begged him, trying to act innocent, his act nearly falling apart. This officer was getting on his nerves, but nonetheless it was his job, and everything relied on him at this moment.

"Listen, i'm required to follow the laws, and unless I plan on getting fired I fully intend for it to stay that way. Get your uncle to pick you up or something. I can contact him if you want bud. Otherwise buzz off." The officer kept his tone down and then continued staring around at the crowd of people all on there merry way, which was very few speaking as it was night time there.

"I'm not your bud. Give me my suitcase and we can both be on our merry little way." William snapped, reaching his hand out and expecting the suitcase. Of course this did nothing, only more laughing from the officer and he pushed William aside.

"If it was only that easy. I don't know what you're trying to pull but it ain't working. How 'bout ya go suck a lollipop or something huh?" The officer barely even looked down, staring down at his radio to pick it up and hear a report of a angry mother ordering that her bags be returned to her immediately. He ran off to go solve the problem at hand, and this left a perfect opportunity to snatch the suitcase.

William pushed through the luggage to grab his, luckily no one really noticed since there was a huge group of students, probably on some field trip, blocking his way and he acted casual as he scooted away with two suitcases, escaping from the mass chaos that was the baggage claim.

"How'd you get it?" Hannah asked, in shock at the prospect of even acquiring it. They kept there heads low and began to walk off as the officers dealt with the angry woman.

"It doesn't matter, we need to get out of here as fast as we can. Would be a shame to get caught now." William demanded. He was even surprised of himself how he managed to get that bag without anyone noticing. Luck must've been on his side.

As the three of them made there way out the door, William took one final look back and saw a figure lurking in the shadows, staring intently at them as they made there escape from the airport, but the adrenaline and happiness coursing through his body overthrew that, and they made there way along the street to find out what happens next.

"Jesus." Hannah, Rob and William had settled at a McDonalds to try and find what they would do next, but it all seemed quite dreary. Due to maintenance issues they wouldn't be to Australia for another couple days, which they couldn't just spare. Hannah opened her phone to find a barrage of messages from her parents worried sick about her, especially since the whole murder deal with poor old Ms. Krause.

"Is something wrong?" Robert asked, leaning over to check her phone, only to get pushed away by her.

"It's just my parents." She sighed, giving a look of disapproval to Rob as he shrugged and stared back at his meal that they ordered, but none of them really wanted it except William, who had been starving. He couldn't live off of airplane pretzels and soft drinks.

"It's all yours." Robert assured, pushing the tray over to the hungry William, gulping all of his food up and eating every single crumb. Suddenly someone entered into the empty restaurant, the man William had seen earlier. William nearly choked on his food when he say the man.

"Are you alright?" Hannah interrogated William, who shook his head and laughed, as to brush it off.

"Oh yeah i'm fine, i think i've been eating too much." William scoffed, swallowing his food and then taking a giant gulp of water down his throat.

"You think?" Robert remarked, looking at the steaming buns in front of him which he refused to touch. Across from them sat the guy from the airport, occasionally staring at them. Eventually William got tired of him peeking and he turned towards him.

"Is something wrong sir? You keep looking over at us." William proposed, turning to face the lonely man who looked around and then furiously hushed William, standing up and covering his mouth.

"Are you looking for a way to get to Australia? I heard your flight was canceled." The main scooted next to William, pushing him over nearly as William scrambled to get away from him. He spoke very fast with a thick New Zealand accent, bound to get them to Australia.

"Well, yes. How did you know?" Hannah requested, her hands down on the table at the old man in front of them in baggy clothing and in bad condition. If she'd have to guess, he'd probably last taken a shower a week ago.

"Word gets around. I'll get you three to Australia in no time, for only 650 bucks. Tonight." He offered, hand outstretched, confusing the three but intriguing them. This was a decent price, but what could they expect with some old man who looks like he belongs in a retirement home.

"I'll take it." Robert said, shaking the man's hand and looking around for the groups approval, which clearly wasn't high. But this was there only hope. "Be hopeful for once. This could be our big break, what we need to acquire those amulets and get back home where we belong."

"Better hurry up, the clocks ticking." The old man was already out the door, and they heard his car sound as he clicked his keys. Rob was already packing up there food and grabbing there suitcases.

"Lighten up guys, this could be good for us. What's the worst that could happen?" Robert was being chased after as he exited the door into the hot air, moisture filling his lungs and William felt it too.

"Well- just about everything."
