Chapter 35 Another Day: Trying Hard

Hannah's POV

"Come on, i'll walk you home" Ace said.

Then we walked together..

I walked a bit faster, and Ace was left behind.

Suddenly,..

"Hannah! There you are!" Gizelle said.

"Ace..walked me back.." I said

"Umm..thanks Ace! I couldn't walk her back cause I had work. Sorry for the trouble!" Gizelle said.

Then he nodded, and left.

Surprisingly..

"Hannah!! Good job!! (While she hugged me)" Jasmine said

Huh? What is she talking about?

"...sorry, I saw everything" Jasmine said.

Then I look down (____ ____)

"Don't be discouraged, it's alright! But you only said a few words..maybe he understood >_< " Jasmine said.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Gizelle asked.

"What Hannah said didn't seem to imply 'two people together'. He must have thought that Hannah was going alone to the fireworks festival" Jasmine said.

"How did you know?" Gizelle asked.

"Because..because....if Hannah legitimately invites him, there wouldn't be any reason to reject her" Jasmine said.

"Why?" Gizelle asked.

"I'm sure that all she needs is a little push" Jasmine said.

Then their other karate mates said.

"Not bad, mate!"

Then Ace was putting away the food that was given to him, and I just look away.

"Extra lessons ends today (while she waves her fan to herself)" Jasmine said

"Ace my love! Ace! Don't run away please!" Judy said.

"Hey, Hannah! Is it okay like this?" Jasmine asked.

Then she was writting something at the back of her fan..

"Just give him this.." Jasmine said
