Chapter 39 The Fireworks Festival Part 3

Hannah's POV

I lied..but he still held unto my hand.

"You...lied...?" he said

I told a lie...

Sorry...this feeling...

Then he look somewhere

"Ah.." Ace said.

For just this one moment...

Then he look at me

"You sure got me..." he said

Then I nodded, and look down.

And he look away.

It belongs to me...

This hand that I held tightly...

Even though it's very embarassing,..

If I can convey to him...

That I want to continue to stay by his side, how nice that would be...

If I don't...start saying something..

Suddenly,..

I look at my hand, and it's really sweating.

Then I pulled away my hand from him, and I think he was surprised of what I did.

Then he just never mind it, and looked somewhere esle. Then, I wiped my hand from my handkerchief. When I was done, he asked.

"Are we going back?"

Then I nodded.

We started to walk away there, and I just followed Ace in front of me. But then I saw a stall, Japanese food called takoyaki.

Let's sit on the bench and eat takoyaki together...

If only...

Then I held on Ace's cloth, and he saw me that I wanted that takoyaki.

"Ah, i'll pay (while he put out his wallet)" Ace said

Then I shook my head, and bowed to him.

Then he run as fast as he could.

After a minute..

He came back, and he was raising the candy apple to me, and I took it. But we still bought the takoyaki.

We sat on a bench, and Ace was eating the takoyaki, and I was eating the candy he gave me.

Then I looked somewhere, and he suddenly, was raising his takoyaki to me..and I shook my head. Then we both looked somewhere else.

July 31st..

Wearing masks and watching fireworks together..

Eating takoyaki...

The candy apple he gave me..

It's very...

It's very sweet...

During summer vacation,

Then I look at him.

One day,..

I made a memory with Ace..

Then I didn't realize that I was a bit smiling.

"...thank you..." I said

"..ah, no. I'm the one who should say thank you" he said

Then I look away.

"Today..." I said "I was very happy..."

Then he nodded

"...if you were happy,..then that's good" he said

Then we put back on, our masks.

"Let's go back" He said
