Chapter 72 Dinner with Fam

Hannah's POV
We looked at them, and wondered why, and it seemingly they got surprisingly amazed of it.

"Hon, Hannah has grown up.." Dad said, while he was fakingly crying.

"Yeaahhh.." Mom said, while she was also fakingly crying.

"It's so nice to see this.." Mom and Dad said. "See you next time, Ace" Mom and Dad said, and waved.

"Umm.. if you guys don't mind.." Ace said.

Then Mom and Dad looked at each other, and have this question look on their faces.

Ace took up my parent's offer, we're set up here in the dinning room. I sat beside him, on the other side were my parents.

"Mom's roast beef is really delicious.., I still remember those times.." Dad said.

"Hon.." Mom said.

"Daadd..Momm.." I said, and I looked at them as if I was saying to them like "stop with the recalls". I'm not being a spoiled brat, but it's embarrassing since Ace is here.

"Okaay okaay" Mom and Dad said.

"Here, Ace, have some" Mom said, then she put it on Ace's plate. And Ace tasted it.

"Does it.. suit.. your taste?" I asked.

"It's really delicious" Ace said, while taking another bite.

"I'm glad you like it" Mom said happily.

Then we started to eat our dinner.

Ace's POV
I finished my food which was prepared by Hannah's Mom.

"Thank you for the food" I said.

"Ace, what school did you went when you were in elementary?" Hannah's Dad asked.

"I went at Campus Star" I said.

"Oh I see, Are you in any clubs?" Hannah's Dad asked.

"Ah yes, i'm in the Karate club" I said with ethusiasm.

"Oh that's amazing" Hannah's Dad said.

Then I looked at my left, and saw some pictures.

"Ah, that's Hannah when she was still a baby" Hannah's Dad said. "When we first saw Hannah in the newborn baby room, she was the only one with brimming light. We thought that she was cute, but every parent would say that. But still, our Hannah was really cute." Hannah's Dad said.

"We troubled Gizelle a lot because of it"  Hannah's Mom said.

"And Mom too" Hannah's Dad said.

Then I looked at Hannah's Mom, and saw that she was looking at her husband, with a wonderingly expression on her face.

"Since i'm going through a lot of business trips, i'm far away from them, i've caused a lot of stress for her mom" Hannah's Dad said.

Hannah's Dad.. really loves his family.., who wouldn't though?

"That's why today as a father, i'm asking you.." Hannah's Dad said, and looked at me. "Do you.. seriously like..Hannah?" Hannah's Dad asked.

Hannah's Dad POV
"Do you.. seriously like..Hannah?" I asked.

"...Yes" Ace said with courage. Normally, other guys would be shy to say it, but he's different.

Oh! Both this couple, blushed so hard. Couldn't even imagine that this would happen, but the same thing happened both me and my hon. But this it not the end yet.

"Do.. you.. want to date her..?" I asked.

His expression changed, he doesn't want to??

"I don't really.. understand.. what dating is.." Ace said.

"Pft.." Hon said.

"Hon?" I said, and looked at her.

"Sorry, he's so cute" Hon said.

"Aren't there other ways to be dating?.." Ace said.

"Well back then, we don't have cellphones, but we do send letters" I said. "Speaking of cellphone, if it's alright, can we exchanged phone numbers?" I asked.

"I don't have.. a cellphone" Ace said.

"It's so rare that you don't have, I mean, normally, all would have" I said, but he might have his reasons?

"I'm busy with karate, and I can't ask my parents for it" Ace said.

Oh, I see.. it's okay though. Then I looked at the clock it's almost 8.

"Sorry, you had to go home this late.." I said.

"It's okay, I got to know Hannah's Family at least" Ace said.

We headed outside, and we bowed to each other.

"Thank you for coming today" Hon and I said.

"I also thank you for having me" Ace said, and walked away.

"Well, he's better than I expected, he's not some kind of flashy guy" I said.

Then I saw Hannah, following Ace.

"Ahh Hannah-" I got cut off because of Hon.

"Hon, don't mind them, let's go inside" Hon said.

"But-" I got cut off.

"Come along" Hon said, and dragged me inside the house.

Hannah's POV
Ace looked back, and I stopped and bowed at him.

"Ah, you don't need to.." Ace said. "...today as well, I couldn't give you an.. answer.." He added. "Even if.. you asked me about dating.. I don't really have a clue.." He added.

I nodded.

"It's.. okay though.." I said.

"How lame.. of me.." He said.
