Chapter 71 Meet The Fam

Hannah's POV

I slowly opened my eyes.

If we started dating.., will I be even happier?

I went downstairs, and saw Mom and Dad.

"Good morning, Hannah" Mom said. "Dad came home last night" She added.

"Long time no see, Hannah. It's been months-" Dad said. He stared at me for a while though, Maybe it's because i'm still not wearing my blazer and tie yet.

"Hon, something is different on Hannah" Dad said.

"Maybe it's because you still haven't got used to her uniform, besides, Gizelle told me that, Hannah is having fun at school" Mom said.

"Oohh,that's great! Hon, I think we are right that we enrolled her at the Camp High!" Dad said.

"Yeaah, I know right!" Mom said.

"So tell me, Hannah, what is it about that you're having fun with school?" Dad asked.

"Tell us Hannah" Mom said.

"I have.. other friends besides Gizelle.." I said.

"Ohhh I see" Dad said.

Should I tell them about Ace?.. It's okay though, but i'm kind of shy to tell them though.. I just wished i'm not that all red.

"Hannah, are you okay?.. Why are you blushing so suddenly?" Dad asked.

I knew it. Well then, here it goes.

"Dad, Mom, there's a.. guy... I like.." I said.

Silence surrounded for a second..

"Ehh? Are you going out with him?" Dad asked.

Then I shook my head.

"But.. we have been.. in a mutual love.." I said. While saying about it, it just got me even more red.

"Even though it's mutual love, normally, they would go out! She's being tricked by a strange guy!" Dad said panickingly.

"Come on, Hon. She's your daughter, surely, it's definitely a good guy" Mom said. "And it's like the time I fall in love with you" She added.

"Hon.." Dad said.

Silence surrounded us again..

They suddenly sat beside me and it suddenly  a heavy atmosphere came around us.

"What kind of person is he?" Mom and Dad asked.

"We're not being judgemental, but we are very happy for you. Although your Dad is just surprised about it" Mom said.

"Y-Yeaahhh" Dad agreed. "Hmm.. why not just meet him instead of asking Hannah?" He asked.

"Why Hon? Are you gonna scare the kid?" Mom asked.

"No, o-of course not. Why would I? And besides, I won't be coming back for a month I guess, so I guess it's a great opportunity to meet him" Dad said.

"Ah! Hon, Hannah's school have this festival, we could go there" Mom said.

"Mom, it's really embarrassing..that if we, kids, let our parents..go there" I said.

"Oh, I guess you're right" Mom said.

"Well, it's okay since it's only unrequited" Dad said.

"If you guys.. wanted that badly.. to meet him.. you can.., because he's going.. to take me home.." I said.

Then I put on my tie.

"Oh.." Dad said.

Then I put on my blazer.

"So they're close enough to walk home together, huh?" Mom said.

"I see.." Dad said.

Then I went outside, Gizelle is waiting for me after all. When I opened the door..

"Hannah, let's go?" Gizelle asked.

Then I nodded, and when I looked back, Mom had this smile on her dace while Dad is seemingly worried for me. Then I waved at them, and smiled.

This day, went so fast. Actually, Ace is taking me home now. But is it alright if I don't tell him about it? But it might me bad because he might get nervous?

They are only seeing him from the house, so it's okay not to tell him, right?

We reached my home, then casually we bowed at each other. Then off he goes.

Did they see him?

Then I saw that Ace looked back, and waved at me. So I waved back, suddenly, there were hands behind me, and saw that it was Mom and Dad.

"Hi, nice to meet you, we're Hannah's parents" Mom and Dad said happily.

Ace doesn't seem to be that surprised?

"We've been waiting for you, please come in" Mom and Dad said happily.

Sorry.. Ace..

"Hannah?" Mom and Dad asked. Then they looked at me, it seemed like I suddenly trembled. "Are you mad?" Mom and Dad asked.

"Don't be so mad.." Mom said.

"Sorry, we got carried away. But we just really wanted to see him no matter what" Dad said.

"We even actually prepared dinner..and we're just curious about what kind of kid is walking home with our daughter" Mom and Dad said worriedly.

Then I looked at them, and surprisingly..

"My name is.. Ace Reid, nice to meet you.." Ace said, and bowed as a sign of respect.

"Ah, nice to meet you too" Mom and Dad said with a nod.

Then silence surrounded us..

"Wanna come inside?" Mom asked.

Then I kept on shooking my head, meeting him is okay already.

"It seems like.. Hannah.. is against it.." Ace said.

Then Mom and Dad looked at each other worriedly.

"That's because.. I don't want.. Ace.. to have.. some bad memories.." I said.

"It's okay, Hannah. It's fine" Ace said.

But I just shooked my head.

"Hannah is talking to a guy.." Mom and Dad said.

Then we looked at them, wondering why?
