The next day, people begin setting up for what is proclaimed to be the Blue Moon Festival, a month long festival proclaiming the legendary Blue Moon.

Rieka is unusually agitated. Though she stays by Aaron's side, she is jittery, and jumps at the slightest noise. Watching the setting up of vendors and stalls, Rieka asks Aaron where the party will be staying In Las Aminor, and what they will be expected to do during the festival.

"I don't like crowds," she mutters under her breath, watching the excited festival goers pass by her. "So I'd really rather not be around when the festivities start."

"You're free to have fun. I'm sure for one month, no one will try to assassinate me. Even on this hallowed festival that was brought to us by the Chugustians."

In contrast to the day before, Sheerow is a bundle of anxious excitement. Stars in her eyes, a bounce in her step, the whole kit and kaboodle. Though there are visible bags under her eyes---she stayed up all night contemplating the events of yesterday and their significance---they are as bright as ever as she zips around from stall to stall checking everything out, offering help when needed, and taking in the excitement of the festival to come.

She notices Reika's easily startled demeanor, and flies up to her side, putting a small hand on her shoulder gently. "Reika, you ok? You seem anxious." She waits until the exchange between her and Aaron transpires and she frowns animatedly. "Well that's disappointing. They say three's a crowd, but I was really looking forward to having fun with you and Akayan." She glances over to him as she speaks, smiling lightly. "But I'm sure there are gonna be places at the festival that aren't too crowded. Even then, we could also totally check out the rest of the town and the surrounding area, where there aren't people. If that's okay with you, Akayan."

Rieka opens her mouth as if to backtrack, but almost immediatly shuts it again, giving Sheerow a pained smile.

"I'd love to hang out with you," she sighs, deep sadness in her voice. "We can spend the day together. But I'll probably spend the night alone - My prayers to Selune are especially important tonight becuase of the Blue Moon. And that's when the crowds will be at their worst."

At Aaron's words, "You're free to have fun," Xo runs off to the nearest open game. He is excited for nighttime, as it is not called the Blue Moon Festival for nothing. He spends a lot of time at whack-a-mole.

As night falls, the Blue Moon rises, and the crowd cheers. A vendor begins to hand out free baubles shaped like a Blue Moon. "They'll shape change when the different moons come out."

As night falls, Xo begins to feel stranger, suddenly becoming a werewolf with blue-silver fur. All that remains is his old shell, which only appears to armor the Blue Lycanthrope... Tortle.

As he is about to throw a dart at one of the balloons in a game, Xo realizes he is now covered with large, disgusting hairs. This bothers him a lot; so much so that he finds the person running the game a much more appealing target than the balloons. He throws it at their head.

For some reason, Xo now deeply despises all spell casters in his party. He is also now aware that his shell has become a bit heavier, causing him slouch further than he normally does.
