"Right." Adds Thalanil. "Perhaps, you may want to explain to us, why is it exactly that you need us to defeat this Rightful Queen. You have done nothing so far to earn my trust, mister."
"I did not sign up to protect a well-dressed man with a microphone," the Tortle shares randomly. "Give me one good reason I should not just quit this 'quest' of yours," he finishes, irritated. His new odd expression, that has no right to belong to a Tortle, reveals his odd fake eye. That isn't important at all, but there it is.
Malikily looks suspiciously at Aaron and says, "Yes, what do you want to talk to me about?"
"May I ask who these assassins were? And why is the Rightful Queen trying to overthrow you?"
"The first was a group of Chugustians that... I actually don't know if they were caught. The second was sent to New Mibeji."
Malikily is still waiting to learn why the president called him over.
Rieka looks around, trying to take stock of her surroundings, and also notice any suspicious people around. But Las Aminour is full of people that have a story to tell, however no one that is noticeably suspicious.
Malikily notices Rieka sudden alertness, "Why so tense Rieka?"
Akyan also scans the crowd looking for anyone conspicuous and keeping an eye out for Sir Parcival.
Sir Parcival has since left (carrying a journal that Sheerow recognized), and Akyan notices his old friend Sun Wukong.
