His face growing slightly red, Xo looks at the slipknot with wide eyes. "Hmph, I should lose weight. The last time I checked, I was exactly 500 pounds."
He lays his backpack, shield, pike, mace, and his other large items on the ground. He carefully puts his right arm through the slipknot, and then grabs the untied part of the rope with the same arm. With his left hand, he clamps onto the rope part just under his right hand.
"Well, I could try to lift more, but more than 500 could be risky. I could make two trips?" A bit embarrassed by her apparent brashness with the last question, she shrugs. "Or if you have a suggestion on something that would be more comfortable for you, I'm all ears. I also have Winged Fall ready to cast in case any of you fall.
Meanwhile, the hellfire engine attacked by Rieka pivots to look at its attacker, but instead blows up the building behind her. They appear to be taking down all of the buildings in town except for the Aeroport.
Rieka holds her ground, staring up at this monster with an expression first of fear, then of determination. Spreading out her arms and closing her eyes, she focuses deeply, trying to channel her goddess. However, she cannot reach her.
I should have told the others to look into the loss of magic, she thinks bitterly. Oh well, whatever.
With that thought, she opens her eyes and attempts to jump on top of the hellfire engine, attempting to climb onto the beast.
Akyan points to it. "Apparently, that's important to them. Maybe we should try to demolish that place." With that, the deep elf takes off for the Aeroport. Once there, he starts breaking things.
