Last month we finally got confirmation from Kiefer Carter that he was in fact engaged to singer girlfriend fiancé Blake Gutierrez (professionally known as Blake G). The internet was abuzz in those corners. Pointing out any pictures they could find of the couple with corresponding rings. Here's one showing them together with their rings.
A picture on display showed Blake getting out of Kiefer's car while he pulled the door open for her. Both of their hands happened to be in the shot. She was surprised that anyone had gone to the trouble of taking such a picture. It then had a zoomed in section that showed both of their ring fingers. The silver and black band with small red stones that she'd gotten Kiefer, and Zora's Sapphire ring that he'd gotten her. His ring was much less obvious, but it was inspired somewhat by Goron's Ruby. He'd been impressed, and he wore it basically all the time now.
But now we see Carter stepping out without his ring. Is there trouble in paradise? Is our goth princess going to be solo anytime soon? Let our eyes do the talking.
Four pictures of Kiefer. Two of him at the gym not wearing his ring. They made sense. He was working out. One of him on a jog. Blake decided that he was probably sweaty. That was fine. The last picture showed him leaving A Taste of Ink. She remembered that outfit. The jeans with the several holes, a long sleeved t-shirt, and his hair was extra disheveled that day. He was cute, but he'd been out late. Apparently he did not wear his ring at all times. Still, there was nothing to read into it. She hadn't asked him to wear it every day. What did this matter?
"Don't read articles about yourself, Hermana."
Carla had been right... but just like had happened before and would happen again, despite Carla being right, Blake wasn't going to heed the advice.
