Hangman is playing pool with Coyote when he looks up after missing the shot "What do we have here" he says with his signature smirk playing on his lips as Phoenix and Riot walked in with two people behind them, "if it isn't Phoenix and Riot" he says and holds the pool stick so he may as well be resting on it, "here i thought we were special Coyote" he says as Coyote walks and stands behind him "turns out, they invite anyone" he finishes "fellas this here is bagman" Y/n says and turns her head a little to face them while Phoenix stands there and looks at them. "Hangman" he corrects her which causes her to roll her eyes "whatever" she says and shakes her head a little, "your looking at the only naval aviator on active duty with a confirmed air to air kill" Y/n says as she continues to introduce him to her friends, which causes him to laugh "stop" he says in embarrassment.
"mind you" Phoenix buts in "the other guy was in a museum piece from the Korean war" she states matter-a-factly "cold war" Coyote says from behind Hangman "different wars" Payback says from behind the two girls "same century" he finishes, "not this one" Coyote says and has a small smirk on her lips "who are your friends?" Coyote says waving his pool stick to address them "payback" Fanboy" they introduce themselves "hey coyote" Y/n says towards him "hey" he says back. "who's he?" Y/n says "who's who?" Coyote says questioning what she just said which makes her nod and look towards the man, he dust's off his seat as crumbs fall off it, he looks up as he feels eyes on him, "when did you get in?" Hangman asks towards the dude "o-oh, I've been here the whole time" he says with a mouth full of peanuts "well mans a stealth pilot" Hangman says no leaning on the pool table.
"literally" Coyote adds on to Hangman's statement, "weapons systems officers actually" he corrects them "with no scenes of humour" Hangman says passing the pool stick to y/n and walking away, "what so they call you?" she asks as she holds the pool stick, "Bob" he says and looks down "no your call sign" Paybacks says "uhh, Bob" he says ."bob Floyd, your my new backseat?" Phoenix says but it comes out more like a question "from Lemoore" she says pointing a finger at him, "looks like it, yeah" Bob says as blush covers his face from being uncomfortable, "9 ball Bob" Y/n says and hands him the stick "rack em" she continues and he stands up "okay" he says taking the stick.
A little while later y/n notices someone walk in from behind all the other aviators "is this how i find out your state side" y/n says towards Rooster as he takes off his sunglasses "yeah, i just thought i'd surprise you" he says as you near the pool table, you lean down to shoot the ball and jab it back into his stomach on purpose "i guess i surprised you back" you says standing up straight holding the stick facing him, "i see you haven't changed" he says looking up from his hunched over position "i see your still full of yourself" you says back and he smiles standing up a little more "still good to see you" he says towards you "wish i could say the same" you says back as he stands up fully.
