Summary: dagger squad is jealous of the relationship between phoenix and y/n.
You were getting the popcorn for the group, "Okay, did you all finally decide on a movie?" you asked, putting one of the bowls near one group and another near the other. "You know, it's not fair you guys are roommates. Jake is a literal slob!" Bradley whined, looking at how neat the house was. Currently they were allowing you all to live off base in pairs, of the same gender obviously.
Lately, there was some jealousy because they saw how close you both were to each other. "Am not!" Jake bit back, huffing and crossing his arms with a pout. You smiled at Natasha, ever since that previous night you were both a lot closer. You had that protective over sibling you always needed in her life and she finally had the baby sister she always wanted. "Well, we got lucky being paired together. The main thing is, set up a system." you chuckled, going to get snacks.
On the fridge was the chores list and both initiated who did what so you knew what still had to be done. "It has to be equal, one person shouldn't do more than the other all the time," Phoenix continued. "One week I will do the shopping and the next Y/n will. We put what we want down and go from there," she grinned.
They were all pouting, "Can we steal you away from each other, one for someone else and one for another?" Bob asked. It was obvious there was also jealousy over how close you two were. "Not a chance," you smiled.
"Now, let's stop talking about how incredible Phoenix and I are and watch a movie!" You laughed, settling with your friends.
Somehow she ended up behind you and played with your hair, braiding it and doing some stuff to keep her hands busy. Often nights would end up with you doing that. Guess they had a reason to be jealous, you got the best sister out of it.
