"Can I go?", James asked for the presumably tenth time.

Madame Shelley sighed: "Alright, out you go."

"Thanks!", James called out, already running towards the door.

"Don't overstrain yourself!", Madam Shelley shouted loudly, but it was no use.

James already sprinted down the corridor towards the Gryffindor house.

"Walnut cracker.", he panted once he reached the portrait of the Fat Lady.

"No.", the Fat Lady looked disapprovingly down to James.

"What no?"

"No, non, nein, no, no..... Why is the word no in almost every language the same? At least in the ones I know....", the Fat Lady huffed.

James looked bewildered.

"So you've changed the password?"

"Yes, si, oui, ja, igen, oh I like that better, much more variety."

"Oh come on, you know me!", James called exasperatedly.

The Fat Lady shook her head.

It was about an hour before dinner and James supposed everyone was either in the common room or outside, catching the last bits of the good weather.

Just when he decided to go off and search some Gryffindor, a second-year came around the corner who he recognized as Cassie Shaw, one of the new Gryffindor Chasers.

"Oh thank God.", James said, "I don't know the password and the Fat Lady", he shot her an angry look, "won't let me in."

"It's 'sapphire bag'.", she looked at him curiously, "You're the one who was poisoned, right?"

"Uh, yeah, kind of."

"So it didn't hit to hard?"

"Well, I'm fine now.", James shrugged.

"Good to hear.", Cassie smiled, "I've heard the wildest rumors, about you being transferred to St. Mungo, lying in coma, having blisters all over your face, and much more stuff. I've even heard you'd be dead"

James made wide eyes: "Wow, well fortunately that's not true."

Then he grinned: "Guess I'm a pretty interesting topic to discuss."

Cassie laughed: "It isn't as you're Harry Potters son, so the interest is about doubled."

"What, will you leave me here hanging open until tomorrow or are you finally going in?", the Fat Lady interrupted annoyed.

They climbed in and James' eyes immediately found his friends who were sitting at a desk, doing what looked like homework.

"Well, bye then.", James said to Cassie, and hurried towards the table, feeling the looks and whispers of everyone on him.

Dominique spotted him at first: "James! There you are!"

They had visited him again in the morning, but it had only been short because they had to go to class.

"I've heard I'm quite the topic in school.", James grinned as he sat down.

"Do you know how many people asked us about you? One sixth-year even expressed his condolences because he thought you were dead.", Lucas snorted.

James snickered: "Guess it will be a shock for him to see me at dinner."

"Yeah, especially since Alice told him that your burial would be the day after tomorrow.", Dominique laughed, "But now to the important things. I asked Professor Swanson for the list and she said there is one, the Book of Admittance, but it's in the office of the headmistress. You know, the one with the Quill of Acceptance."
