"But was it just an accident?", Alice asked.

"How would it be?", Leo said.

"Come on, we can't know, and can we finally change topic? It's so annoying to always talk about this thing.", James sighed.

"It's annoying to talk about your life being in danger?", Dominique said indignantly.

"Mini!", James called out.

"Alright, alright.", she muttered.

"Exploding Snap, anyone?"

"No, Lucas!"

On the next day the school woke up being covered in thick snow.

It was late November and everyone had been desperately waiting for this.

Right after lessons all first-years stormed out into the Grounds, they were the first ones to have class ended.

"Isn't it magically?", Dominique said, happily dancing through the snow.

"You know what would be magically, too?", Lucas quietly asked James and Leo.

He grinned: "What?"

"Look, over there."

James spotted the three Slytherins from their year who always threw them nasty looks.

They had their backs turned to them and seemed to be talking heatedly.

Just this moment, the blonde girl, Lilly looked back and smirked sinister before turning back.

"Heck, yes!"

James, Leo and Lucas started forming snow balls and after counting to three they threw them.

James hit the tall, black-haired one he knew by now was Jayden, right in the back, Leo had placed his perfectly on the back of the head of the brown haired Slytherin, and Lucas- well he missed.

The effect was immediate though.

"Who dares-", Jayden called out as he turned on the spot, "Oh, I see, it's Potter, Slater and Cresswell. You are gonna regret this!"

And immediately they bowed down and started forming snowballs.

In an instant, James, Lucas and Leo followed their example and the greatest snowball fight was in the making.

Alice and Dominique soon joined them, and some Slytherins on the other side, too.

"Why, need glasses?", James called out when Lilly missed another ball directed at him.

"So I look as pathetic as you? Please not.", she screamed back.

"Maybe you'd hit your target sometimes though.", James laughed.

More and more students joined, and finally it was almost the whole first year class fighting against each other, Slytherin against Gryffindor, some Ravenclaws joining Gryffindor.

"You know, Gray, that you don't belong there. You wait until Christmas.", Jayden told Alice loudly.

"You- Just stick to your own business, idiot!"

"Take ... that!", Leo called, hitting Jayden again.

"You take that, mudblood!", he shouted back, an angry look on his face, obviously taking the whole fight pretty personally and wanting to win with his house.

"You did not say that!", James roared, letting the snow balls be snow balls and ran towards Jayden to tackle him.

The first-years quickly built a circle around the fighters.
