For a big family, we come with a punch, there's a lot of us and we don't all get on. Especially when some people do things that are not needed. Lies that bind.
At my Palace, my family and my daughter's new fiancé was a smart man, with good character and background. He shook my hand and my son was surrounding him telling these men we have a family meeting with just us men, Luke seemed to enjoy that. Rose was with Charlie and Abi, sitting together. I watch them then vanish into the meeting room.

We all sat down a front of my table, my sons sitting opposite me and Luke sitting at the end of the row. "Lucas you will be a duke, you will live in a Castle, and your job will be helping charity. " He just nods not saying anything. Carlos spoke up "I hope they live here for a while." His eyes met mine and he stares at me "Dad it's because we haven't seen her in a year, I want her safe."I nod "I understand Carlos, but We need to ask him? do you mind this?" He shook his shoulders "I don't have a problem with that, I wouldn't want problems with my future wife's brother." Carlos laughs and says "Your a good man." Shook his hand.
Charlottes pov:
The air was breezy wind came in, I closed my eyes and watched the door concerned for Owe, or just wanting to see him. I peeked through the windows and I saw his face for a moment then he left walking away. I turn to see Lukes's face he looked almost happy. Leaving me a kiss on the cheek. "I have somewhere I need to be, I'll call you." I nod and walk outside. This relationship doesn't seem normal, It's not like I love him. but I know him. I know he'll look out for me if needed. He will protect me, isn't that enough? I want it to be.

I and Abi were in the garden watching the water in the stream. "I'm so happy for you sis," Abi says I didn't know if I should feel happy about it because I shouldn't be getting married, I should find out who tried to kill me, I want to know so badly who it was. I didn't realize my face was giving away my emotions I was crying. Abi being the younger woman assumed they were for joy which was a lie. "I'm sorry I have somewhere to be, " I will see you later there's something I need to do.

I found the study and sat down thinking, Can I go through with this? Do I want to? do I want it? My arms are down on a pretty laid-out table thinking. I look over and it seemed Luke quietly walked in sitting opposite me. "What is it?" "It's hard to explain." He shook his head "Just tell me I'll help." "I want to know who tried to kill me." "Someone tried?" His eyebrows raised "What the hell? Do you think you know who it might be?" "I thought it was one of my siblings, but I still don't know." His face looked tamed "If you know Luke tell me." "I wouldn't trust Richard Owens, I think It was him."
