It's been a month and Josh left.  I honestly didn't understand the way I was feeling, I mean if the longer it takes for him to come back is it a point to get married at all? The emotions were going through me and they didn't help.  I tried my best and tried staying away from Roy and my father was back in town so he had called on me, I had arranged for him to come over to the Palace, my brothers were with their father out for tea. But My mother was still away on business I was told.  I missed her. I missed her advice about men about life, about my role in this family. I knew My grandmother had missed me too there were times she wished she could take me away from all this, sometimes rarely sometimes but those times I wanted to escape and run.

Josh had called during the evenings each day to keep up with me, but still hearing his voice made me think it wouldn't work. I never told him this. I just didn't want to deal with it. Then that second as I stood in the library the lights were on then my phone buzzed and his name came on the scene

"Morning Hunny, It's coming to our wedding day." -  I was quiet. "We need to talk." He stopped and listened "What is it?" "I can't."  He replied, "WHAT DO you mean?" "I just can't, you thought it would be fine, but you left me." "I'll see you soon."

After the call, I didn't think he would do what he said he would do. I put it to the make of my head. During the day I was busy or tried to keep myself busy.  After a while I heard a big riot outside then in the sunlight I saw Joshua's face through the light standing in my room waiting on me "What are you-" I tried to say he replied "I told you I would come, because your important to me. & I think we should talk this through." "What's wrong?" I stood strong and tried to not say my piece but I ended up starting " First of you don't get to just act like this, you left for a month, Josh. Now you think we're getting married still? your funny." I said with a laugh Josh had a straight face with no emotion.

"My grandmother told me to leave to sort this out so I say give me the chance to." I rolled my eyes to that. "You have no right Josh, to" I didn't realize it yet but he was getting to me. My eyes were slowly leaving teardrops. "We're supposed to get married Abi." I stayed quiet and turned my back looking out the window.  "What happened to you, you're different?"   Then Rory came out from the shadows. I turned to Rory he saw the annoyance on my face "I can't do this right now." & with that, I left.

My father was with my brothers just by the entrance of the garden with Jackob.  They saw it on my face well my brothers did. I just said I was fine. I then saw both men come out of my room walking towards me. I held my breath just for a  split second then my brothers realized what was going on they turned to me and said "You need to sort this out Ab, just trust what your guts telling you. See what happens."

"Alright," I say watching both my brothers I headed back to the garden just to calm my nerves. I was around a field of growing flowers blossoming into beautiful ones.  I found both Rory and Josh in the garden waiting on me. I got up to them.  "I thought about it. I feel like you and I Josh need a break. Just hear me out, please. He paused.  "You can't just leave me for how long and then expect me to marry you, it's not the same, "&  all my life I wanted one thing. I wanted a crown, but maybe it was wrong too, but maybe just maybe I can get it myself."  He didn't like that so he left me with no words.

It was only me and Roy standing in a place we once stood.  "So what does that mean for us?" " I don't want us to change but I do not want to marry you, well not yet." He grinned "alright." He said with a smirk and then he pulled me in leaving me with 07' emotions.
