Chapter eight - Fresh Starts

1990's  Wedding day - 

Charlie Taylor pov:

This was a day I was waiting for, what seemed like forever. Never thought I would get here. My family wanted this, I was waiting for Him but he ended up being someone I didn't even know.  But I got a second chance of love with an old friend. It's a good thing really I suppose because it's a friendship that soon will turn into love. I was in my bedroom on the morning of my soon-to-be wedding,  I stared at the weather my large windows which were opened. Freddie Kight was calling me. I picked up breathing in "How are you feeling? isn't it interesting this time four years ago this could have been us?" I sat up leaning on my bed "you're joking Oh wow, Yeah. I'm ok. I hope this is a fresh start, I hope your brother treats me well. " He didn't get long to respond "I'll make sure he does." 

The day started my Mother came in with my maids and we started getting ready. They started dressing, then Lukes's family started coming to the garden for the wedding. Bonnie came in her dress. It was pretty. She took her arm out of her bag with a bottle of bubbly."The party starts now." She says cheering opening cups and giving out drinks.

King Andrews Taylor pov:

I and my wife were dressed and ready for the wedding of the century, I was in my tucks. I look at Rose and ask "You think Elizabeth will come?" She froze I the mention of my ex-wife, "Maybe because of Abi, she's her sister, and she has not seen her sons. If she does we better just deal with it for today. Then she goes." I nod in agreement. 

After one I got to where Charlie was and we made our way to the garden to find her future husband.  "Your beautiful baby." She hugged me tightly. We stood outside the entrance and took a moment. "Ready?" She turns her head and says "Too late to turn back now." I agreed.

We opened the doors and the swift wind came through I turned back to find Elizabeth sitting with my sons and Abi. I had a feeling I wasn't going to enjoy this.
