Princess Demi Taylor's pov:

I was at a point in my life where I never ever made a choice or decision by myself since growing up being from a royal background my parents and grandparents would speak for me. But now I was nineteen years old age and wanted to experience the life I told my brother I was going to the countryside since we had friends around there who allowed me to stay with them for a while which was a small white lie I just wanted to explore the world from my own eyes. I wanted to experience love, love break, everything, friendship, a true utter friendship that would last a lifetime. I was abroad in a small city just on the outskirts of the town it was so quiet and different from my town, my life.

I knew my family wouldn't agree to what I was doing since I had just been told my father wanted me to become Queen and rule chances are I would need to wed soon and they would find me a match and have an arranged marriage. So I attended to enjoy the little time I had to myself before I became Queen and married. But what If I found someone who fit the bill? or worse didn't...  The only people who knew my whereabouts were my brother and my first cousin. I just needed time to myself before becoming Queen and having issues with the other Taylors. I knew the ones I was thinking about the present Queen and Princess will have future issues with me I  just knew it.

I found the cottage my brother told me about that had a lovely large pool outside the garden, it was very sunny and the birds chirped and sang along the trees as the sun heart came off my arm I could tell I taught a bit of sun that evening.  I get the little cottage and I knocked on the door I saw a woman coming out of a room and had with her apron and dustpan sorting it out and walking towards my direction.  She opened the door and smiled t me "Hello deary." She says eyeing me and with a quiet voice said "How would you like to be called? " "Do you know?" I said with somewhat fear in the question thinking she knew. "Yes." I pulled out my hand for a moment to get her attention "I just want to be referred to as Demi while Im here I needed time away from my family." She nods and heads towards the kitchen.

I followed her and asked if she needed assistance but she said I will not be a servant since she know my origin. She says it's unladylike. I nod sitting  She was busy working away she stopped and stared at my soul "Of how silly I am you may call me Mrs. Gordan, my son will be arriving shortly back from his holidays." I make somewhat smile. "I'm going to have a look around if I may, your gardens looking lovely." She looked pleased with pride of that.

Now I remembered I was in a longish black dress shortcut from my knees and simple shoes which were easy to move in, I made my way around the cottage and was so surprised by the pictures of this family that seemed so normal compared to me and my family. I wondered what was in store for me. I heard a rush ad a thump at the door and it sounded like someone was breaking the door down it was almost laughable and horrifying at the same time.

I appeared at the front of the house trying to open the latch and it opened to a tall man with bags filled with food. I looked down at them and eyed him, he ignored me and called for Mrs. Gordan, which he referred to her as a mum. He came in as I shut the door. I made my way back outside.

Collin Gordan's pov:

"Mother" I call looking for the woman "Yes yes Collin what is it, have you said hello to the other lady outside?" "Who is she?" "Is she our new maid?" My mother said, "Don't you ever speak like that about that young lady ever again." My mother was quiet then thinking not knowing what to say or address the lady. "Shes Demi Tay-." My mother stopped herself from saying anything more.  "Demi Tay?" I repeat "ignore me I need to continue with the food  get  out of my hair now." "She's defiantly something, she's a curious little thing," I said with a grin on my face and I meant it.

Princess Demi Taylor's pov:

I was sitting down enjoying the view of the water of the pond, the firm grass reminded me of back home and how our flowers were piling up on the grass.  I heard movements but I stayed still not moving peace at last. I was approached by the same tall laddish man I saw earlier, I sat up trying to crease my black dress "Miss Demi." I stare at this strange man, "lovely to meet you, my mother speaks highly of you. Names Collin Gordan" I nod "Yes your mother's lovely lady I tried to help her with her cooking but she wasn't wanting any help." He looked over at me and continued looking then turned then looked back at me "forgive me for asking but you're not our new maid are you?" I was laughing inside but if this man only knew who he was talking to. Me a maid? laughable. "I can assure you I'm anything but a maid sir, my family is quite respected my family wouldn't want me as a maid ever."
