Chapter thirty-nine - New King in town...

2022 January misty day

England London

Princess Demi Marie Taylor's pov:

I gathered all of the princes and princess into the throne room because there's a new law whoever wishes to become Queen or king have the right or have their first pick of this choice. 

So stood with my husband explaining as a team, the rules in this, and any member of the family prince or princess has their space of peace to think about it. It's a chance for them to have their way, Idealy I was thinking about my child April becoming a Queen because it would be good for her and her little family. My great-uncle was here doing the proceedings for me, in the past, he wished for his nephew to take the throne their stories. But his happy to help.

Princess April Taylor's pov:

I and my sisters and our cousins gathered around a table seated wondering who would say their peace, thinking about it it might help my child. But then again Im a princess first and foremost so how bad will it be? my child will get whatever their heart desires. Freddie didn't like the idea "I'm a spare, but if I'm king I'll have responsibility what is what I do want. My mother and father looked over at me "Baby" My father says "I think you should think about this, it will help your growing family." There it was again, them thinking about only the baby, not me. Phoebe sighs and says I can't do this, no one will accept Cole as a king o I have to decline. But in the long run, that's the best for her and her future family,  I was envious of my sister she had everything, a man but no one liked him but she didn't seem to be bothered. I thought she had the most to lose. I thought they would give her an ultimatum Cole or her title. 

Wendy couldn't keep it to herself she told us all about the proposal of marriage to her partner just the other day when it was snowing, Father was pleased. As was mother.

Hunter Knights pov:

At my family home, we had the guys around everyone, Including Rory who was talking with the girls' cousin Luke. Everyone was drinking to the proposal, they were getting drunk. My auntie Bonnie was here she sat with me and I was explaining to her how I was worried about my girlfriend, she seemed so distant from the baby. "I think she will understand what it's like to be a mother when someone tries to hurt her family, I think it will change her and she will understand the importance of family."  I had an auntie from Taylor's side of the family her name was  Charlotte, and we call her  Charlie Taylor Knight.

A moment later I had a phone call from April, I excused myself ad started walking out of the living room and heading to the outside yard. I picked up the call and I waited to hear her sweet voice "Can you come? I need to talk to you about something?" "Alright, I'm on my way." I went back to my home and explained the situation they understood and told me to hurry to her.

Once I got to the house I waited in the drawing room. 

Princess April Taylor's pov:

I went into the drawing room to find my boyfriend, he was sitting waiting for something I saw the fear in his brown eyes. "Relax it's not the baby." We sat he come over to hold onto me, "It's my dad he asked me to be Queen and for us, our family to have that life. I don't know I mean I'm already a princess do we want that life?" He stops to think "Meaning I would be a King? Image a Knight as a King. wow, my family will be pleased and very happy but it's about us is it what you want?"  "I just want this family to be happy if it's what's best for us then Im guessing I can't say no." 

"Do you want this?" Hunter asks me. I close my eyes "It's not about me, or what I want it's for the baby and you. Let's go talk to my parents."  We went to the throne room, they were left alone by now. They saw us walking toward them my father smiles and shakes hands with Hunter. "Please tell me you two are here to tell us good news?" He smirks and looks at me "Yes will take the throne." My mother was overjoyed.
