I flipped through the pages of my notes, reading every line and every footnote.
"And they believe you?" He asked me in a voice that would make even the strongest soldiers quiver.
"Yes...I think so." I told him, trying not make eye contact.
"I don't want a think! I want a know." He slammed his hands against the table, "I thought that this didn't have to happen, and look where we are now.."
I flinched and straightened my posture, "Yes, I know sir. I'm sorry, bu- "
"No buts! When you come back here you bring me what I asked for and you give me what I want. Do you understand?"
I nodded and gulped.
"Good. Now back to work, and no distractions." He clapped his hands and guards appeared from behind the doors, "Please show him to the exit."
They walked towards me and locked me into a tight grasp, "Oh, and one more thing!"
My eyes met his as the words fell out of his mouth,
"Bring me the kids."

HIII!! I'm still in a writers block but I've decided to just force my self through it lol this is a little chapter but it's a big part of the story. every once in a while these chapters will get posted but just letting you know they will only be about 500 words max. also something I wanted to say is that my email on this account is not working correctly so it isn't letting me respond to any comments😔 I can still see them though and I love your thoughts so far so thank you so much and I will try to see what I can do to fix it!
