Taurus pov:

A popular 90s song was playing quietly from the radio as Capricorn's car drove through the night traffic.

I looked over a Cancer to see her staring out the window expressionless. Sighing quietly I glanced at the others. Some were asleep and others were on their phones.

I went back to Cancer and tapped on her shoulder. She jumped slightly before turning to me.

"What happened in the hallway?" I asked her, my voice still ragged and tired.

She hesitated then said, "I saw something. I don't know how, it just kinda flashed in my head. Like a memory or something." She fidgeted with her hands. "I know it sounds stupid but it scared me."

"It doesn't sound stupid." I told her firmly, "If I'm being honest, I didn't have a good feeling about that place. I'm glad we're going back." I smiled at her and she nodded.

The car fell back to silence as we continued to drive the almost empty streets.

Virgos Pov:

By the time we got to our house the sun had started to come up and peak through the trees.

We walked in and we're immediately met with a fuming Ophi and a questionably calm Queen.

"Hey.." Aquarius spoke, giving them a slight wave while the rest of us had our heads down.

"We are not strict here at all." Ophi started, "Aside from a few rules, you can basically do want ever you want. But you all have really past the limit here."

"We can explain-" she couldn't even finish her sentence before he interrupted her.

"You leave without telling anyone, you go to someone's house, get caught up in a shooting, followed around, and all just so you can crash a some cheap ass hotel and play arcade games?" Ophi's face is red now as he yells at us for our actions.

"It was my fault." Cancer spoke up as we all turned and looked at her. "Moon took me to the library downtown and told me that someone was after us and I got scared and told the others about it and we found this book and I don't know, I guess I got kinda obsessed over it, so we went to the guy who wrote it and he was one of the past rulers and then he want all crazy and then we got shot at and I swear to the gods above I'm being followed!" She spit out bursting a little bit towards the end.

With a sigh Ophi sat back down in his chair and rubbed his temple. "You could've been killed." He muttered quietly.

I looked over at The Queen who just sat silently as she seemed to be admiring everyone's opinion on the issue. "Well, I think that instead of being irrational we should talk through it." She smiled looking at all of us and nodding. "I'll start. Moon was right Cancer. We have gotten some threats from anonymous letters. Though we shouldn't worry. This happens a lot more than you think. It's just that this time we have you all to protect." She got out of her chair and took a step closer to Cancer. "But I also haven't been totally honest with you either."

She took Cancers hands and intertwined them with hers, "Nobody's following you. It's your mind making it all up."

"What?" Cancer breathed looking at her confused.

"You have ability's. You all do. And I know this may be a lot to take in but we are you to help you. You shouldn't have to be searching for answers by yourself. You can come to us, ok?" She reached up and softly brushed her hair with her fingers before looking back at us and whispering "You will be alright."

Cancers Pov:

I was sat on my bed looking over at The Queen, who was the only other person in the room. "I'm so sorry." I mumbled under my breath.

"You didn't do anything wrong, my dear." She got up and walked her way over to sit next to me. "Tell me what's holding you back?"

My heart skipped as a lump started to rise in my throat. "I- I don't know." I looked down and started to play with the rings on my fingers.

"That's okay. Take your time."

[Flashback to 7 years ago]
(still Cancer's Pov)

Tears streamed down my face as I slammed the door of my bathroom. My body started to slowly slide down the wall until I reached the floor.

"Cancer would you just try to talk to me, please?" My dad said from the other side of the door.

"Just go away." I cursed under my breath.

My tears continued to run as I heard his footsteps fading away from me.

Forcing my self to get off the ground, I went over to the sink and put my face in cold water. I looked up at the mirror into my deep eye bags and smudged mascara.

My phone buzzed beside me and the screen lit up to read my Dads text message asking if he can come in now.

I sighed slightly before unlocking the door and letting him in.

He didn't say anything at first. He just sat on the edge of the tub and watched as I fiddled with my hands.

"You ok?" He quietly asked me.

"No." I mumbled, which I know he hated but he didn't say anything this time. "But I will be."

He pushed his body of the tub and stepped closer to me. "You know what your mom would say about this?" He turned my body to the mirror and tucked my hair behind my ears.

I slightly smiled, "What?"

He looked at me and smirked, "Fuck them."

I stifled a small laugh and hugged him. "I miss her, Dad." I said as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"I know baby, I do too." He brushed his hands through my hair, "But we will be alright."
