Chapter 17 - SAFARI

Virgos Pov:

I always thought retirement was a way to relax and cherish the final years of your life. But obviously standing here now, he has been doing anything but that.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't expecting guests." He pushed all the papers together in a messy stack and shoved them in a box beside him.

"No, no it's fine." Cancer comforted him and started to help him clean up.

By the time they were done getting most of the stuff out of the way, we all sat down to talk the man who could possibly change our lives forever.

Spoiler: he does.

[flash back to a hour ago]
(still Virgos pov)

"I think this is it." Cap said out loud as he pulled up into a driveway.

I looked out the window to a huge house with a iron gate surrounding it.

"That's great Cap, but how do we get in." Taurus brought up referring to the big gate standing in front of us.

Cap sighed before picking his phone up and dialing a number, "Hold on." He mumbled.

'Hello?' I heard Aquas voice through the phone.

"How do we get in?" Cap got straight to the point.

'What do you mean?'

"What I mean is that there's a big ass gate in front of us and they don't know who we are. We can't just go barging in."

'Then we tell them who we are. Say we're the future rulers or something, I don't know."

Cap sighed again before rolling down his car window, "There's a recording button on the gate code."

'Use that then. Tell them that we are the new rulers and we need help to figure out something.'

I interrupted them from the back, "What if they tell the planets?"

Aqua must of heard me from the phone, 'Say they sent us on a mission. Just don't bring it up too much. We can just get our answers and leave.'

"Okay, I'm going to ask to get in." Cap warned us before clicking the 'record' button on the gate code.

"Name and occupation." The machine beeped at us, sounding more like a AI than human.

"Capricorn Seagoat, future ruler of 1/3 of the earth kingdom." He spit out to the anonymous person. He was trying to keep a steady expression but I could tell he was a little nervous.

It took awhile for it to respond but eventually we heard some clattering from inside and the gate opened. Taurus shot me a look that was mixed with wonder and anxiety. I shrugged back at her and watched as we wheeled our way down the long driveway and to the house.

What the hell are we doing.

Aquarius Pov:

To be honest, I don't know what the hell we're doing.

My feet hit the ground of the hard pavement. With the others following, I made my way to the house.

"I say we get a big ass mini van." Sag joked, referring to all of our cars.

"Yeah, actually I got 24 grand the other day. What about you Cap? You got couple hundred laying around?" Scorpio sarcastically mocked her and she shoved him back.

"Guys this is serious." I said over to them.

"Sorry." They mumbled before stepping away from each other a little.

I sighed and walked up to the door. I hesitated and slowly started to put my hand down.

"Do you want me to do it?" Capricorn motioned to the door.

I guess that was just the motivation I needed because without a second thought I spit a "Shut up, I got this" to him and knocked on the door loudly.

We all stood there and waited.

Just about 30 seconds.

Ok a little longer.

Almost a minute now.

Is anyone even home?

I knocked again.

This time, without any wait, the door opened right away startlingly most of the group.

"Who are you, and why are you here?" A tall man emerges.

"Uh, we..um.." I looked back at the group for some help.

"We're the new rulers." Leo saved me. "We have some questions."

The man didn't seem too convinced. "What do you want to know?"

Leo looked at Libra as she held the purple book up, "A lot."

The man stood there shocked. He stepped out of the door and frantically looked around to see if anyone else was there.

"Cmon in." He whispered to us and opened the door further.
