Slowly I stand up and stretch with a loud yawn, before exiting the green pup-house

And I see him.

Sitting near the cliff's edge, his head tilted slightly towards the sky. The sun is covered by the light grey clouds and the soft breeze pushes the grass to one side

I start walking toward him with a soft grin on my face.

But he jumps off

My heart skips a beat as I race towards the edge of the cliff

I quickly peek down, but what I expected to be sea was just rock. As if the ocean had dried off many years ago. And the cliff formed a ravine with a dark bottom

"Rocky!?" I shout

And my voice echoes back to me.

I turn around to see if I can take a ladder from my truck or something, but the Lookout is gone

It's just green grass and a few trees where the Lookout is supposed to be. The only thing that's left is Rocky's green pup-house

I quickly run back and notice that that green pup-house isn't made of metal. It's made of wood and it's smaller than I remember it.

"What are you doing?" I hear Rocky behind me

He had his green cap on and was holding a dirty screwdriver

I hug him, but he quickly breaks the hug "Dude, C'mon. Tell me what you want, quick. I have clients"

"W-What?"

And he sighs in annoyance "Alright, just stay here. Or leave, whatever you want. I don't have much money that you can take or food"

He then leaves the room.

I look around and see a small old couch in the middle of the old dusty room, a broken vinyl player on one corner and a small photo frame on the floor, the glass side facing the ground

The sound of dogs barking and metal clanking quickly fills the room as I slowly pick the frame up.

Few big pieces of glass fall as I turn it around. And I see myself in the picture. A big smile, with my eyes diverted to my right, where Rocky is. But, even though he is smiling with his arm around my shoulder, he sees empty.

And his eyes just seemed off.

"So?" Ryder states, he sounds impatient

Slowly, I start caressing Rocky's face on the picture "I'm sorry. . . I didn't find anybody"

He sighs, kneeling and placing a hand on my shoulder

I look up at him, and he gives a soft smile. He seems so calm it makes me grin as well.

"Get out, Marshall"

And my grin disappears

"Get out! Get out! Leave!" He starts shouting at me

I quickly cover my ears, closing my eyes but he grabs me by the paws and pulls me closer

"You hear me!? Get. The. Fuck. Out."

And I wake up with a gasp

"You alright?" I hear Chase

I try to recover my breath as I nod rapidly

Chase sits down next to me and places a paw on my shoulder "Bad dream?"

"Bad dream" I reply, taking a look around. The sunlight shines so brightly it makes my eyes hurt. The sound of leaves rustling quickly fill the ambience as some of them fall on top of the Paw Patrol statue
