I wake up and quickly dress up in my fireman suit, even though Ryder didn't assign us any mission today.

Rubble has been getting along very well, I could even say Chase is his best friend.

And I know it because as I left my pup-house I saw them talking, walking inside the Lookout.

I just walk past them, heading directly towards the Green Pup-House that's next to Chase's pup's house.

And I see him, cleaning his tools with an old blue-green ish cloth.

"Interrupting?" I ask as I lean out his pup house entrance.

Rocky quickly turns around and shows me a smile "Not really" then he continues cleaning his tools, this time slower.

He's not wearing his green suit, only his green cap.

"So, hey, I know you were quite busy lately. . . and today none of us have any general mission. So I thought if we could maybe go somewhere else? Maybe 'Grab a Bite?' " I chuckle, taking my fireman helmet off.

He giggles, putting his tool and, now dirty, cloth down "I'd love to, but please, take off that suit. I want to have a break from the Paw Patrol stuff, at least for one day"

"Yeah absolutely" I answer. Maybe he's right. Paw Patrol work is tiring, at least for me.

I quickly trot to my pup's house and take off my suit.

Then we just head to the city.

I didn't know exactly where he wanted to go so I just let him lead the way.

The streets are slowly getting cleaner and prettier, Paw Patrol work, but there are a lot of things that still need to change. Or at least in my opinion.

"What about here?" He asks pointing at the park that's right in front of the Town-hall.

He starts walking to the biggest tree, me following behind, and sits down in the shade.

I sit down right next to him.

"This is one of the few places that relax me. You can't see the Lookout tower or hear any sound other than chirping birds" He exhales, closing his eyes.

I just look down "Well, for me it's quite the opposite"

He opens his eyes to dart me a concerned look "What do you mean?"

The Paw Patrol has given me a second chance, but the past is still there. I can still feel the wind hitting on the cardboard box, the piercing cold on my skin, that feeling just doesn't go away.

Slowly, I point at the corner of the park "I used to live right there, in a cardboard box. I don't know what happened to my parents, so I was completely lost" I close my eyes, sighing "No name. No love. Just . . . lost"

"I think Marshall it's a beautiful name" He says as I feel his warm paw on top of mine.

The sound of the chirping birds slowly fades away, and the breeze gets slightly chillier.

"Rocky"

"Yeah?"

"Are you gay?"

He quickly recovers his paw back to himself, turning his look to one side "Well, the only person I remember was my mother, she taught me how to use tools and machinery. It was our only way to survive, until she. . . Well"

I open my eyes and rest my paw over his.

"That smithy is everything I have from my mother. . ." He turns his head to look at me
