Dear Marshall and Rocky,

We start sweeping off the blood, filling up buckets with red-stained water, before scrubbing the floor with perhaps every single cleaning supply that we had under the kitchen sink

For the time I've been in your home, I have been able to see what true love is like. What having a life with someone besides you, no matter what happens, actually looks like.

I give up trying to clean the big red stain that's in the middle of the mattress and just begin pulling it out of the room, struggling a little since the mattress barely fits through the door frame.

And it is unfortunate how things worked out in the end. No one would have expected what would happen when the circumstances made the 6 of us become a Family, but I guess that's how things work out for everyone. We never know what we are capable of until we actually do it.

Rocky takes some spare planks of wood from the garage to the living room, as well as some nails and tools

Or what is gonna come our way, making us divert into paths that we shouldn't even consider going. Also, I deeply apologize for the mess.

The sound of loud hammering echoes around the entire house and outside, while I cover Chase's unrecognisable face with some bed sheets

For many years, I've made a lot of bad decisions, separated from the only Family I had and hurt them for a really long time.

Rocky pulls the recently made wooden box closer to the entrance of the guest room, before we gently carry Chase's body to carefully put him inside

The way I've been feeling lately is way too complicated to even explain, much less on a piece of paper, and the apology I owe to each of you will never be enough.

I grab one of the hammers that Rocky brought, and some nails, and begin hammering shut the improvised coffin while he makes a slightly smaller one with other planks of wood.

Skye, I don't blame you for hating me. I would also hate myself if I were you. I tried to be the one there for you, tried to treat you right, but even though life decided to separate us, I kept on loving you until today

We do the same thing for Zuma, and I begin hammering the coffin shut

I hope you find someone who loves you. Someone who listens to you. Who gets worried when you don't pick up the phone or when you look upset after a long day outside

Rocky takes the house phone that is mounted on one of the Kitchen walls and rings Skye, then he tries to ring her again, then again, and again, until she eventually picks up

Rubble, I have been mean to you even when you did nothing else than try to help me.
